This bakery had amazing sandwiches, bread, desserts and hot chocolate! I was very impressed with the variety of foods they offered. I had a roast beef and brie sandwich which was made with real roast beef (not deli meats), caramelized onions, brie, greens and a delicious sauce. The portions were very large! Two of my friends could only eat half of their sandwiches.I highly recommend coming to this place if you want delicious sandwiches, quiche, puffed pastries, and cakes!

Heard nothing but good things about this place so we made the trek in from Kingston only to leave kinda disappointed. The service was great, they were busy and trying to move people through fast and friendly. But the food was not up to the hype. Our croissants tasted like day olds, if I hadn’t seen them constantly refreshing the bin you wouldn’t have convince me otherwise. The disappointment deepened when my wife’s almond croissant had zero almonds and the filling was so granular it was like the sugar hasent been dissolved. Finally we also tried their scratch made sausage rolls, it was the only good croissant we had, but the sausage was not good. Almost no seasoning, like a lump of pork with maybe anise flavor. It was funny, we asked them to cut it half because my wife and I were sharing it, not only did they use the knife that just seconds earlier was used to slice a cake, leaving a chocolate smear on the roll, but they also cut it length wise. Funny way to end an odd experience. If you haven’t been, also be warned, it’s near impossible to spend anytime at the counter looking at the desserts without feeling in the way. Wish there was more room to look salivate and decide

Don’t know why some owners have to be arrogant and ignore reviews and comments…. At least not be closed three days of the week. As it is you are paying rent…

I literally don’t know how this place gets good reviews… it took sooo long to get our food and the food turned out to be such a disappointment. For $14 smoked salmon sandwich was the worst I’ve ever eaten - the salmon was so salty and mushy, and the bread was crazy hard, either it was stale af or so overly baked. the coffee was incredibly bitter. the chocolatine BARELY had any chocolate and was so dry.The space is cute but solely based on food, I’d give this place 0 stars. Waste of money.

Stopped in for a quick bite while passing through the area. My partner and I were really craving sandwiches and we picked THE BEST place! An authentic French patisserie with a French chef, we were not dissapointed. The havarti chicken sandwich with creamy pesto and buttery bread was fresh and had a perfect amount of each topping. The croque monsieur was verrry rich like an ultra high quality ham grilled cheese with bechamel . We were also tempted by all the beautiful desserts, and tried the strawberry and pistachio cake. It was the perfect balance of sweet and tart. And their in house espresso blend made a full bodied americano with notes of chocolate, caramel and nut. 100% will go again.

Cute space that leans into their very French name!Great mix of baked goods, pre-made sandwiches, and artisanal grocery goods. My croque monsieur wasn't quite traditional, lacking the top layer of cheese, but it was tasty nonetheless! Generously filled with ham and cheese, and the bread was good as well. Given the look, I assumed it was marble rye, but it's actually a pumpkin bread with activated charcoal!

Went for Breakfast. Cozy small place, friendly staff.Food is good, beverages are not up to mark.If you plan to sit outside/at the patio, just be ready to tackle with lots of bees.. they may get into your food.

Very cute place with sidewalk seating area reinforcing its French feel. Desserts are really nice - my wife had the rasberry cake, which was amazing and not something you would commonly find elsewhere. My kids shared a chocolate cake, which was also really good. I had a croissant, which is only available Saturdays so I thought it would be something special, but it was a disappointment. Thick layers of dough, bulky, not crispy. That is the only reason why I couldn’t give them five stars.
