We really liked KSJ Monster Pub when they first opened, but not so much anymore. The last 2 orders we placed on Skip the Dishes were disappointing. The 1st time they made a substitution on their own without informing us or updating their menu in the app to the new corrected item - anytime with other restaurants we've received a phone call if they can't fulfil the exact item(s) we've ordered to confirm if we're ok with the substitutions. We received carrot cake instead of cheesecake. Not trying to complain over something minor like that, but it could actually be a huge issue and liability if someone were to have an allergy. The 2nd time last night they did the same again, substituting chicken nuggets for chicken tenders, where the chicken nuggets are the equivalent to Janes frozen chicken nuggets from the grocery store, and also didn't include fries. I called the restaurant right away and all they could offer was for me to pick up the missing fries sometime at my convenience. Overall, we had high hopes for this new restaurant in Bowmanville and have placed so many orders with them over the last few months, but we're definitely disappointed and probably won't order from them again.

Met here for a business meeting. It was quiet for a Monday at lunch which was great for us. Our server Rose was very kind and attentive. I had the fried chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries. The sandwich was out of this world, I loved the pickle and there sauce. I would come back next time I'm back in the area. Well worth the trip .

We came into bowmanville heading to another restaurant when I saw the neon sign with special Indian menu. We immediately changed plans and headed in. We were a group of 4 and we ordered monster chicken curry and chilli chicken Kothu roti and the food was rich, tasty and protein heavy. I would highly recommend this place for authentic Srilankan/ Indian food.

Was there tonight on a Thursday, had their wing special. Excellent deal and very good. But out server Emily was absolutely amazing, will definitely be back.

The ambiance at this restaurant and pub, is just like going home. I am officially a regular now. I go here about almost every other day. There daily specials are amazing. Their portion size is great. Amazing Food and Generous Portions! Everyone from the owners to the chef to the servers take pride in their work and were very inviting.The jambalaya was on point and the ribs and wings were to die for.A new favourite spot in town, we will be back!

The absolute worst service in the Durham Region. Was there on a Friday night, sat for 20 minutes before I had to get up and go to the bar myself.Went back to sit down and she finally came with our drinks, asked for a certain shooter and she left and never returned.When I went back to the bar, asking where the shots were, she said she didn't have what they needed to make them.She had 0 plans of coming to tell me that, though. LMAO.Wow.Will never return. Place won't last, I guarantee you that.

Came in for lunch today. We've been hesitant as there have been a lot of negative postings on Facebook about this place.Noted the sign CLEARLY displayed at the front saying it was half price wing day. One of us ordered the wings and the other 2 ordered from the lunch menu. Once we received our bill it was noted that the wings were not at half price and one us was charged for a different wrap (not on the lunch menu despite ordering and pointing to one on that menu). We were then told the wings are no longer on special (despite their sign saying so...)Food was ok. Not worth the hassle and will likely NOT return. If you have a sign displayed saying that your wings are on half price you should honor it! There is no "we forgot that we aren't doing those specials anymore" ... waitress was good, but it's clear management needs to get on top of things. Disappointing!

I tried this restaurant for the first time today with my family, the Server we had was great, nice personality excellent customer service she really gave us a warm welcome her name is Trista, the only problem I had was the cook my wings were pink when I asked for well done.

I used to come in quite often with a friend for meals since this restaurant opened. I have noticed almost all of the staff has left. I have heard bad things about the owners and how they treat staff. The food is typical pub food. I used to come for the friendly service and atmosphere. It's a ghost town now. I'm not supporting this business anymore.
