I have been a regular customer of Annalakshmi but this time I didn't like the taste and service. In addition they increased the prices of items by 35%. Mini Tiffin used to be 9.99 and they changed it to 13.49 which is too much. You can increase $0.50- $1 but increasing $3.50 is a loot just like every other business looting in Canada, you are following same path.

We tried rava masala dosa and madras masala dosa with onions. It was soo awesome and tasty. It’s was the best dosa experience in my whole life. Their services are soo good and they worked so fast. I will definitely go their next time for pav bhaji dosa.

I recently visited Anna Lakshmi, an authentic South Indian restaurant, and was delighted by the flavors! The Curd Vada was exceptional, transporting me back to my childhood with its authentic taste. The Khuska Rice was a highlight, with its perfect blend of spice and traditional Velankanni aroma that left me craving for more. Be sure to take a moment to appreciate the aroma before digging in.While the Rose Milk was too sweet for my taste, the Biriyani Combo was decent, albeit a tad spicier than expected. The Raitha was a bit bland, but the accompanying pickle and warm Gulab Jamun (with just the right amount of sweetness) made up for it. The Butter Paper Dosa was a standout, with its crispy, buttery flavor that left me wanting more. However, the Mysore Dosa was a bit of a letdown, with too much masala overpowering the delicate flavor of the dosa itself.Unfortunately, the dining atmosphere fell short. The seats and tables need upgrading for comfort, and the washrooms and toilets require immediate attention for cleanliness.Recommendation: Visit for the authentic South Indian flavors, but be prepared for a basic dining environment. Hopefully, the management will address these issues soon!

No background music here, so you can feel the peace here and observe the other guests. the service here is so good. the Girl name Charmi serves us she is really polite and explained us everything we ask. we ordered gobi Manchurian and onion masala dosa here. the gobi Manchurian is so good. its above my expectations. and the onion dosa is also realy good. in the drink masala soda and mango shake is really good. overall experience is good. and the washrooms here is also clean.

The dosa are good.. a lot of food variety and fusion which you may find in any big South Indian restaurant.The food is not bad.. but its not wow.. sambhar and the chutneys are two things that never please me here be it anyway with done in or takeoutPlenty of seating however slow service. Atmosphere is family friendly and is like any other south Indian restaurantsBut yeah I have eaten Amazing dosas, soft Idlis, Good chutney and sambhar at other south Indian restaurants of this scale.Overall a 3.4 rating from my sideVegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian options w.r.t. dosa or idli or vada or other south Indian veggies and curries
