Just ordered some takeout, cantonese chow mein was ok but breaded shrimp were absolutely disgusting. They were cooked through ok but the ratio of shrimp to breading left a lot to be desired. They should order some from Golden Lake up on Bovaird to see what is acceptable. These were 90% bread terrible, will never go

I have never in my life seen such bad service like this, ordered from Uber eats and thank God for that because if not I wouldn’t get my money back.I ordered general Tao and got a different sauce, spring rolls are burnt really really bad, tried to eat it but had to stop from the taste of charcoal from hell.And cantonese chow mein noodles came burnt???? And smelling super charred, with all meats on it coming over cooked and dried. There was even garlic all over it. Completely inedible.I have never had such a bad experience at a restaurant, and I’ve always tried my hardest to not waste food but all of this is going straight to the trash because it’s truly disgusting

Great food. I have been searching for a place to replace my old favourite Golden Lake, and this is it!!! Very good food, and good portion sizes except for the rice, which is on the small size compared to most restaurants. I would recommend the long bbq ribs, fried chicken wings, and pork fried rice. All were amazing enough for me to order two weeks in a row!!! My new place for Chinese food. Goodbye Golden Lake.

Normally order from the Torbram location but Uber eats only had a deal with the Steeles Ave location.We ordered lemon chicken but got general Tao sauce instead . Also had chicken balls and egg rolls. Both were so burnt that they could not be eatenWould not be ordering from this location again

Burnt Chicken Wings, burnt spareribs. Burn eggrolls, stale hard rice * stale cold lemon chicken. Called the Steeles location to complain. $94.00 Order & nothing was touched. The male who answered only said what time did I place the order & I have to let UberEats know. No apologies, just sending out burnt food to customer. Will never order from this location. The one on Tobram is 10000 x better.

My family and I use to order from this store fore years, but just noticed the people working there has changed. It’s no longer like authentic Chinese food… Ordered the general tao and it was soggy, the sauce tasted like ketchup. The fried rice was so burnt looking and seemed like it was all soya sauce, the wings seemed to be fried in old oil. My husband and I both felt sick after eating it. Never again!
