Order here often, the food is always hot and fresh, never have an issue on that front, however every time I come in it’s like the price is different. waited over 12 minutes for anyone to acknowledge I was even in the store and questioned the older gentlemen (which I believe is the owner) what the price is cause it’s more expensive then what the menus state, he says the menu prices are wrong and they will not be getting updated menus, and instead of just answering my simple questions on what the prices are on the items I like to order so I know for next time, he kept cutting me off saying “you want it or not” “I’m to busy” “you like it so you want it or not” this is unacceptable and unprofessional. You don’t retain customers like this. I’m allowed to know what prices I’m paying before hand but to be talked to so badly makes me think my money would be better spent elsewhere.

This is honestly hubby and I go to Chinese restaurant. The food is always fresh and tastes good. We usually get Jung pao chicken, vegetable lo mein, chicken fried rice, Cantonese chow mein, chicken wings ext. It's always been good. The lady there that usually picks up she does her job well and never makes a mistake. We go back every time.

Since moving from the Mountainnash Palaza the quality of service and food has disappeared. My visitors use to ask where we purchased such great Chinese food. - not anymore.This will be my last purchase, such a waste of money. - soggy chicken, over sauced noodles, meh rice. We tried our best to eat it but just couldn’t (even with adding pepper) will be throwing out most of it. What a waste.

Chicken balls are really bread balls. Hardly any chicken at all. The prices in pamphlets are apparently are last years prices so the deals listed are no longer honoured even though they still use the pamphlets. For example: It says spend $30 before tax and get free egg rolls. So I spent that and didn't get the egg rolls and paid cash and didn't get the 10% off. I was told it is now spend $35 before tax to get the egg rolls, but no more discount for cash. Not cool. Too bad. Even though it's closer I'd rather drive further now to Kennedy and Bovaird to Golden Lake Chinese to get the deals, plus they have much better chicken balls that are mostly chicken!! Dear Golden Star you've lost a customer.

I thought it was a bit pricey. We only had 5 entrees and it was $80. The beef and brocolli had minimal beef pieces and the shrimp chowmein wasn't mixed in. A few pieces of shrimp were put on the side. Ordered from here before but this time was a little disappointed.
