There has been multiple occasions when the food was not fresh. It tasted off and it made mine and my family’s stomach hurt. Half of the time the food is really good, the other half is not. It’s unfortunate because it seems like they don’t remember that they’re serving a person, and may cause them discomfort when the food is not fresh. This place could have been really good if they’re just careful.

I ordered 50 Maki, Sushi and Shasimi platter order on Uber, however the Shasimi with rice had stale and fishy taste unlike other Shasimi. Please make sure someone taste certain items before shipping to the customer.In past I had ordered from Mount pleasant location and never had such experience. When you $75 for the platter, you expect all items fresh and tasty.

From what other's have explained as a "take out" oriented sushi place, I had to share my experience here.It took nearly 3 hours to receive my order via Uber Eats because the restaurant contacted me noting that they needed to charge an extra $1 to facilitate my special request. I was completely on board to accept the additional charge for smooth processing (Even though the replacement I requested was the exact same price as what I ordered on their menu).After accepting the extra $1 charge, They mentioned that they have no way to process it.. The restaurant staff failed to provide a working solution, and requested me to cancel my order which resulted in significantly high cancellation fees, so I refused. The restaurant also failed to cooperate with cancelling my order on their end so eventually I received my order without the special request. The fact that they refused my special request, and that the food didn't taste fresh, leads me to assume that their "3 roll specials" are pre-packaged rather than made to order.All in all, based on other reviews I'll never consider dining in, and certainly won't be ordering via Uber Eats again either.

4.5 stars rounded up. Ordered takeout from here (finally!). Everything was perfectly packaged and ready to go in their brown paper bag. Online ordering was super easy, but no cash discount is mentioned on their website. When I went to pick up the food, I noticed the sign - hence 0.5 stars taken off. I will definitely order from here again, but pay cash in store for the discount. Friendly service.

It was my first time trying sushi. Therefore I would not be able to comment on taste and quality because I don’t have any reference to Compare. Just to mention i am vegetarian so I only tried veggie option.If you are new to sushi you must go easy on wasabi in the beginning and slowly have more as you like or else be prepared to be blown away. It is so spicy. I thought as an Indian I eat spicy all the time so I can handle this but oh god my eyes started tearing and my nose was burning. I had to take a break.However, I enjoyed the experience and I will definitely try sushi again.About Kibo, the server was kind and guided and helped me through the menu as I was new.Good and quick service.

Just had there spicy sushi set. Ordered about 30 or so minutes before closing. The sushi was amazing. Great taste great price I loved the spicy salmon roll. Best box sushi I ever had. Definitely want to come in for the dine in experience.

Recently ordered online for delivery. An item was missing, but upon calling the store, they told me they can't refund me or get the item to me. My only option was to order again and pay delivery fees again. I asked for a customer support #. Upon calling, it was NOT customer support but someone who works for GetCalibre, who sets up their online ordering system. I spoke with Phillip, who was able to help me with a refund even though it wasn't his problem. Probably wouldn't order from this restaurant again, but shout out to Phillip for solving my issue!
