I had my bridal shower at this location past Sunday, I was so excited High Tea themed. Loved the space and I made the best of it. However I was little disappointed. The staff was a bit rude and not very helpful. I have a pre meeting and asked if I need to bring anything extra was told no they have everything. Well wrong, had to go buy forks and plates as they didn't have enough. I had 30 people at my event, glad I brought extra food very little food to feed 30 people, for example the cookies they only had 12 but if your paying for 30 people there should be 30 cookies. I paid for 32 Mimosa as well took so long and only made 20 had to remind her I paid for 32, at that point she informed me they didn't have enough glasses as well? They also closed the bar at 2:30pm even though we where paying for it and my party was until 3:00pm. We couldn't even get a can of coke. They took so long to bring water didn't keep the coffee/Milk/water filled, had to keep asking them to refill just become a bit stressful. Also when we went to pay the tab at the bar she didn't give us a print out of what we where paying for just said the $$$ amount. The event space itself is beautiful high recommend renting the space but bring your own food/drinks/stuff its not worth the money you can get more for your money outside.

The pictures on the website is very different than when you go in person, it's deceiving. We had a very small table with uncomfortable chairs, no tablecloth and the place was very cold. The washroom was very dirty and the garbage was a overflowing. The tea was good, but it was cold when we got it, had to ask for get it warmed up. I would not go back!

The sweets and savouries were delicious and abundant. I loved the tea and there were free refills. There were 4 options of tea to choose from. The place looks so elegant inside and so welcoming. We really enjoyed our experience.

Had a baby shower today. Wanted to get some bake goods (cupcakes). Came across this place driving by. Never been before. Thought to support a local business. The young lady at the front desk was not very friendly. I purchased most of the cupcakes on display. The young lady told me if I wanted to get a dozen cupcakes I would have to order in advance. I of course didn’t know this…..hence my first time there. The box of a dozen didn’t look filled so I added more to the order. If they didn’t have I would have got baked goods from somewhere else and I expressed that to her. I thought it was a like a regular bakery that sells what they have like most bakeries. Mind you she mentioned that they were closing in 30mins so I was probably one of the last customers of the day which in hindsight is good for their business if I’m getting your last cupcakes of the day lol. When I ask for the receipt she seemed annoyed. This is a basic business practice to give a receipt. I needed it for splitting the cost with someone. She was not very friendly and was pretty rude with her demeanour and being short with her responses. She turned the tablet to me to enter my phone number looking all annoyed. It took a while for the receipt to come through as they are paperless. When that didn’t go through I tried my email. Still was taking a while. Finally it came through my phone by text msg. I don’t think I will be going back there. My little daughters came with me and I got them their own pink cupcakes each. They were excited but the young lady just took that excitement out of me to enjoy with my little girls. Very unfortunate! Willing to pay high price but not to the expense of being treated like that. You win more bees with honey! This has nothing to do with quality of this place and everything to do with the experience treating people with kindness. Cupcakes look great I must say.

Working with Maria was absolutely fabulous... she was so accommodating and extremely helpful. On the day of our event we were told that there will be a huge snowstorm and I was hesitant about calling her to cancel because I was afraid to lose my entire payment. But Maria was extremely generous and only thought about the safety of the guests coming. We were able to reach an extremely reasonable understanding which benefitted me the most. She was ever ending gracious about the entire situation, taking so much stress out of me. This is the second time we used Sweet Chandelier and so I expected nothing less than the first time and we were not disappointed by any means. As usual Maria went over and above. She set up the room beautifully even adding some of her own florals on the table to finish off the look. The food came on time and the desserts were so delicious. She made sure that there was plenty of drinks and checked regularly to make sure that we knew she was around if we need anything. Although I feel that I should be selfish and not tell anyone about this location, I am compelled to tell everyone so that she gets more business. I simply want businesses like Sweet Chandelier to be in Brampton.If you have never been to Sweet Chandelier, then you should check it out. Its has a very French Chic type of atmosphere, so trendy. One of Brampton's very hidden gems.If you are looking at doing a small event, sweet 16 or any small social I highly recommend Sweet Chandelier. You will have no regrets. The team was so wonderful to work with to make my event come to life. Unfortunately my original plans fell through at the very last minute due to COVID, but Sweet Chandelier was quick to adapt and host my event. The place was very clean, super chic, and the staff was amazing! All of my guests were impressed by the place, the atmosphere was lovely. I would recommend Sweet Chandelier for a classy event space!
