I moved out east almost 6 years ago. Admirals was always the spot growing up from going with my parents to stopping in after a pink show at the fort plant and stopping in every time I came home in my adult years. Every single time it was Harry behind the counter with a big smile. It’s sad to hear of his passing and to think of not seeing him next time I fly home and stop in for my order of cheese balls. I’ve ran into people in Alberta from Brantford and it’s the first thing that gets brought up “don’t you miss admirals and Harry.” A true Brantford legend has passed but I sure am glad and hope this restaurant keeps going.

Have frequented Admirals for many many years. First visit was probably around 2006 for a simple lunch fry which is very large for a few dollars. Then many visits for their very large and cheesy poutine. Have had many other delicious food items as well.Parking: Parking is limited as it is downtown in busy area.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs to enter
Used to love this place got a couple of junk piles tonight and oh man has this really gone down hill the burger was OKAY and the fries and chicken strips...it's like they reheated fries and chicken strips from days ago feeling kind of sick now definitely won't be back way too expensive as

This is a lovely local establishment with a lively crowd and staff. Their portions really put every other place to shame.With reasonable prices and extended opening hours, why wouldn't you visit them.Poutine was $13.50. For the portion it is very cheap

Stopped in here for dinner before seeing a show downtown! Excellent food at a great price, very friendly customer service and a cozy ambiance! Plus they make your burger/hotdogs custom just how you like it. Thank you beaucoup Admiral Subs!

If I could leave negative stars I would... the fries and onion rings tasted like they'd been sitting on the counter for 8 hours. Everything was pre made up, including containers of ketchup. Make sure you have a reputable dentist, because you may break a tooth munching on them. Save your money, go elsewhere.

Great place for a late night feast. Thank you for opening soo late. The battered mushroom balls and gravy are thing of legends. It so crispy and juicy on the inside, I want it every night, but I am not in the area anymore.Parking: Free parking for 2 hrs.
This establishment is not one I could say I'd recommend to anyone.The food is far from great, not always fresh and not handled well.You can find flies all over the donuts at the front counter.The restaurant itself is usually dirty, as is the outside. Bathrooms are filthy when they are available.There tend to be people sleeping inside sometimes.The employees aren't friendly at all, and have a hard time understanding orders.They get orders wrong, and their delivery is a joke.Parking: It's hard to find parking on the street outside most times.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible.

Amazing woman working hard by herself served us two delicious burgers. Try the cheese steak for 6.95 with sauteed onions and cayenne peppers. It was the most amazing burger I had in years, gave me energy for the rest of my day and a lifting session. Thank you. Served on Friday August 18th 2023. I wish I had a photo but the food looked so good that we ended up biting into it and not wanting to take photos haha
