Cheese ball and poutine were really good. Highly recommend you try this place. Definitely will be back. They do charge $0.09 for use of debt so bring cash if you don’t want to pay that fee. But the food is worth it.

First time experience. Walked in, worker had exposed heads of lettuce on the dirty deep freezer. Also I even been to a sub place, who can’t make a proper assorted sandwich . How does a sub place cut a slice of meat in half and that’s acceptable. CHEAP. Highly wouldn’t recommend if you want an assorted sandwich. Everything else might be awesome. Not this sub

I'm a traveller and have never eaten here before. I saw the most recent reviews and still decided to go.The owners were working and were quite pleasant to deal with. The atmosphere of the place was quiet and calm, but it was mid-week and relatively early in the evening.The prices were what initially drew me in. I see many burger places in my travels and they tend to fluctuate from really inexpensive (but cheap food) to really expensive (with okay food).This scratched the itch of a inexpensive price balanced with mid quality food. It's what I was looking for.I got a double burger and a double cheeseburger with a small fry and it came to $21 after tax. That's not terrible in my experience.The food had that diner-style food and was tasty. My stomach also didn't rebel against me so I can say this wasn't a sketchy food experience lol.The burgers were larger than expected and one was enough to fill me up. At the time of writing the fries were less than $4 and you got a really nice portion.Overall, I recommend this place to people who have a small/medium budget and enjoy classic diner-style food. While it doesn't break the mold in any way, it's a comfort food that you'll be familiar with. The owners were nice and welcoming to anyone that came in while I was there.

Palace submarine used to be a great place to go to if you wanted large portions. But unfortunately not anymore. The new owners have decreased the portion sizes to a very disappointing portion. And unfortunately the food is not very good either. My boyfriend and I bought food here including a cheeseburger and there was hair all over the bun it was very disgusting. How much hair was on the bun, we contacted palace submarine and they basically told us that it had to be our hair even though we are positive it was not! As the hair was embedded into the burger bun from the wrapper and it was not either of or hairtypes or colour. I highly recommend to find a better place to eat at. as the quality and quantity of the food at palace submarine has gone downhill. DO NOT EAT HERE.

I have not ordered from here since George left… I didn’t hear good things and didn’t want to risk it. I was just craving my usual from here BLT sub and a fry and gravy so I decided why not. It was amazing… tastes EXACTLY the same. And I have been a loyal customer since I was 14 years old. I am so excited to try their new poutines because their gravy is BOMB. Also BLT with grilled peameal is just it. 15/10 new owners are doing a great job keeping Palace authentic !! Will be ordering again daily lol
