This place is like a diamond in the rough. Or more accurately, a sausage in the bun. It's not exactly the Ritz. But then again, if you're looking for fancy-pants cuisine, you're probably not hanging out in the Canadian tire parking lot.The menu at Hot Off The Grill is simple. Hot dogs, sausages, and...keto bowls? As for me, I went straight for the spicy Italian sausage. And let me tell you, that spicy italian will make your mouth water faster than a pool boy at a cougar convention.Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the Meat Master at Hot Off The Grill. He's got jokes as good as his sausages, and he'll keep you entertained while you wait for your meal. So not only will you leave with a full stomach, but you'll also leave with a smile on your face. Trust me, it's worth it just to meet the man behind the sausage.

One of the best burgers out there. Pricey, but good. Fries are good and my son craves their shakes. The experience would be much better if you could sit down at a clean table without asking staff to CLEAN THE TABLES! I don't know what the manager is thinking as my experience from my first job as a 12 year old bus boy 40 years ago embedded the notion that a table should be cleaned after someone has eaten at it. The free peanuts probably don't help. Bars used to do this in the 90s which lead to numerous health violations. Hire someone to clean tables and sweep the floor.

We stopped in after Christmas shopping. The hamburgers were fresh and made to order. Always delicious! The order of french fries was enough for the two of us! Love the fresh cut fries!

Tracy and james are so very nice! The food is amazing, most importantly the customer service is out of this world. Best hot dog stand there is! I highly recommend this place. They got the best sausages ever, I travel from Oakville to come get them.

Noisy, overpriced, chaotic... is what I would say about my experience here today. My son wanted to have Five guys burger for dinner so we went in. Place is busy so folks clearly like it here, but I think its overpriced and over rated. Extremely noisy inside with staff shouting numbers at customers (who can't hear because the place is so noisy and everyone is shouting). Invest in a cue system with number display or something. No one in this place is following any covid protocol... even staff is telling us to shuffle along and bunch up with people in front ... very strange... and uncomfortable. We stood bunched up with tons of other people for over 20 mins for our 2 burger order. Actually 22, but who's counting. I think more frustrating was to see countless uber drivers come in and out within 2 minutes while we all stood there bunched up waiting patiently for our order. as for the food... i think the burgers are not worth the money. I'll take a grilled burger over a fried burger anytime. My son though the bun was very good... just enough seeds, but not too many.. the cheese was "melted perfectly" and the patty was ok. The bummer for him was that the patty is smaller than the burger so three quarters through the burger you end up with no patty and lot of bun left (see photo). he has five guys number 5 on his burger list (1. Hero, 2. BK, 3. A&W, 4. Harvey's, 5. Five guys, 6. McD's, 7. Wendy's.) love the list. I do like the fries, once they cool off they are good with good amount of seasoning. Still think over $28 for two burgers and one fry and no drinks is ridiculous.. especially for what you get. The lack of distancing here still boggles my mind... I guess that's why province is shutting restaurants down in GTA.

The place is filthy: the food prep area and the dining area are both filthy. It was nasty for a pre-COVID dining experience, during COVID it's down right frightening. Had to ask TWICE to get one of the tables wiped down, and then all she did was take a couple swipes with a wet rag, hitting maybe a third of the table top. We ate out instead. Burgers were dry and flavorless. The strawberry milkshake I ordered wasn't ready with the food, and we had to ask again before they actually prepared it - it was thin and watery and tasted like vanilla.

Stopped by for lunch today. The staff were very friendly and observed all protocols while we were there. Very clean restaurant and bathrooms. We ordered a Little Cheeseburger and a Hamburger - both were perfectly done and were delicious! Toppings were put on as requested. An excellent Five Guys and located minutes south of the QEW on the east side of Guelph Line in the Burlington Centre (you can enter from the parking lot).
