No pretentious beach fare here, just fried fish and burgers. Really good fried fish with generous portions. There probably will be a line with a bit of a wait, but you're on the beach with lots of other people, what are you in a hurry for? The staff were great for dealing with such a large crowd, so they are used to it. The kind of place you should make a stop at when you are in the area. Just with they had some adult beverages while you wait for your food.

We went on a Wednesday night. Place was lined up outside. The line up is just to place your order at the counter. Took about 40 minutes to get our food. I was hot and very good when we got it. It is a great spot to go for a walk after. The place could use an update but they are always busy for a reason.

the lady at the front is an unfriendly and rude, older lady. Needs an attitude adjustment and a lesson on how to communicate with customers. the food was ok, a little expensive for the quality. the burger was definitely NOT homemade, tasted dry and no flavour with old toppings and lettuce. The hygiene in this place is also pretty poor with a dirty environment and staff touching everything, wiping sweat, etc. bathrooms are kind of dirty the fish and chips were good and so were the fries. a little greasy. takes a long time to wait for fast food. 25 minutes + i would honestly not come back if it weren't for the ice cream and location.

American classics diner on the beach: Burgers, fries, hotdogs, fish&chips, fries, rings, sodas, milkshakes, grilled sandies, etc. Plenty of booth seating decorated by local sports-lover. The line was short but there were several orders waiting ahead of me. They'll call your order on the speakers so you can wait with your gang outside, relax in a booth, or play some old school games. Remember rocky and bullwinkle? Great stop after riding the waterfront trail or jumping in the lake on a hot summer day.

This place is a staple in Hamilton. There is always a lineup and that should let you know how good everything is. I love going her for their ice cream.

This is one of the few places to eat along the beach. We stopped in late for some ice cream after playing mini golf at Adventure Village down the road. It's like going back to the 50s when these kinds of diners were everywhere. The ice cream was so good and eating it outside really supercharges the whole experience.

Hutch's Harbour Front in Hamilton is definitely the worst place to go eat. You may as well just drive by the water and throw your money away. The fish was SO SO GREASY that you need a pair of fishing gloves just to hang on to it. No need to order a drink - just drink the excess grease at the bottom of your plate and head to the nearest emergency room before your arteries are fully clogged. Our first clue should have been finding the restaurant empty. This was the worst fish & chip ever. And yes, the thin pieces of fish were very soggy and disgustingly awful tasting of old grease. Do yourself a favor and don't even come near this place.

One of my all time favourite restaurants. Good quality food every time with good portions as well. Very family friendly and the ice cream shop located inside is also amazing. I great spot to visit in the summer and all year round. I always order the fish and chips and it's always been good. Highly recommend in the summer time as the restaurant has great vibes. Plus the wait time is not bad at all considering how busy it tends to get.

Hutch's Harbour Front in Hamilton has had the best fish and chips for so long but sadly things are not as they used to be. I've always ordered the small fish and chips and have never left hungry and always left happy with my meal. Until today. This was the tiniest order I've ever received. I could actually count my fries, some of which were in chunks of potato, not properly cut through into fries. The thinnest piece of fish was only partially battered and very soggy with grease. I was willing to forgive the small amount of fries and as you can see in the picture I took a bite of the fish. Sad! Thats my complete order minus 1 bite of fish. Man, I was really looking forward to enjoying Hutch's amazing fish and chips. Still am, I guess!!

Disappointing Waste of $32. We went only because of all the hype. Big mistake. The fries were dry and tasteless - fresh cut? I highly doubt it. I ate as much of the hot dog as I could stand because I was hungry and had spent my cash on it. There were hardly any toppings - they scrimped on the tomatoes, the onions, even the ketchup and mustard! Never again.

The best fish and chips in Hamilton. No one else is as good. Fresh cut fries, love the batter on the fish. Large pieces of fish & always fresh. Really good.
