Food is always great there: it's fresh and nicely served. However, the lady who's for some reason is ALWAYS there (she's the owner's or chef's wife) is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL!!! So rude, abrupt and nasty, nevertheless, she gets even nastier when you leave lesser tip.....Hopefully, soon, they'll come to realize, that they're losing business because of her constant presence there.

Nice restaurant with friendly and helpful staff. The take out was quick and easy to order. Enjoyed the California Roll but the crab in the spider roll was not great. Would go back to try some different sushi items.

The place is very clean... Good decor and location has lots of parking... Staff are attentive and take care of you... They will provide suggestions and information about selections. Sushi was very good... Red dragon roll was huge with large cuts of salmon riding the very fresh rolls... Same cant be said for the Black dragon.. while the rolls were very fresh and tasty... The amount of unagi presented was lacking... Cuts were minimal at best and 3 out of the 9 pieces were without. This is unfortunate as I really enjoyed what was there. At 19$ a roll... I'm expecting what was ordered... No 5 star here.

Terrible Kalbi. It was tough, not well marinated, and there wasn't alot served. There was more accompanyments rather than kalbi. I expected a hot plate of kalbi like other restaurants. I ordered it for my child and it was too tough and dry. There was more California roll and salad. For the little amount eaten, it resulted in an upset stomach for the child and me forbearing it after we switched meals. Not good enough for $40.

Really wholesome guy is running it. Absolutely loved everything, sushi chef is doing almost everything by himself and it is the best salmon I’ve eaten. Portions were great size and very fulfilling. All the 8 or 10 courses were very beautifully served and I admire his commitment that he is collecting the raw products from the market. This experience is far away from western fast sushi places. Also very Japanese atmosphere.

Had Mother’s Day supper with my bf and his parents. The staff was very friendly. They gave us a small plate of japchae for free as an appetizer and a piece of milk chocolate for dessert which was nice. The white miso soup was good. The sashimi was served on a boat and looked pretty. The fish was very fresh which is awesome. The dragon rolls, dynamic rolls, spider roll and ichiban sushi rolls were very good and big pieces. The Manhattan roll is a roll without the sushi rice was also very good too. The sushi pieces were big and very generous with the fillings and ingredients. Very pleased. Just didn’t like that it’s not an AYCE place so it was quite costly.

Just a great place for relaxing atmosphere, good sushi. Took my son here on a Tuesday night, we had the whole place to ourselves. People are all about picking up take-out and staying at home now. Enjoyed our meal and went home happy.

Moving away from Toronto forced me to find a new sushi spot. Tried a few in the area and so far this is my favourite. Will definitely be coming back!

Ichiban used to be our go-to for takeout place for sushi but I’ve been finding the quality of their fish to have decreased quite a bit. Their sushi trays are still a great value for the quantity of fish, but the quality really has taken a step down especially with their tuna and salmon sushi. Would still definitely get take out from this location but it’s no longer our family’s favourite.

Very very friendly service. My wife and I got nervous reading some of the reviews I am telling you right now this place is amazing. Food had good flavor and nice sized portions as well. I would come back in a heart beat

Everyone we come to Burlington we eat here. It's a lovely restaurant in a shopping center. They checked our vaccine cards upon arrival. The complimentary rice noodles are so yummy! We ordered edamame and gyoza soup. Both were excellent but the soup especially!!!! I had the sunshine roll which was very generously filled with fish, avocado and cucumber! My husbands sushi as always excellent- especially the ebi. Service was excellent!
