I stopped here for lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the quality and taste of the food here. The crispy beef was perfectly crispy and tender, sweet and salty. The stir-fried green beans were not overcooked like many other places and the fried rice was good too. Don't be fooled by the spartan decor, the food is delicious. Will definitely be back when I'm in the area.

Lackluster food, although it suppose to taste traditional it well it just wasn't at par with the other restorants we have tried while travelling. Generals Tsao chicken well it was just off in taste, while noodles and chicken was fine. Price is steep in regards of what you get.

We popped in just for something very quick and light on the way home. Never again. We paid $ 16 for 2 cups of wonton soup..not bowls, cups..Actually we wanted to order more for lunch, but the whole atmosphere was dusty, outdated and uninviting so we just grabbed the soup since we were there and figured we wait until we got home to eat. The little bit of soup we tried, both of us agreed, tasted and smelled off..I get that restaurants are struggling and are cutting back, but come on, at least try to offer a nice experience and take some pride in the product you are asking money for.

I echo others and say that the owner who answers the phone is very rude -- she is hit or miss with her etiquette. Other times she has been helpful and nice. Today, however, I called to politely ask which information is correct from their website, as it states both a min order of $35 (shown in the text) and $45 (shown on the menu image) to qualify for delivery, with a fee of $3 or $5. At first I was told it was an old menu, therefore the text was correct. Then I was told the menu was updated in December and the $45/$5 is correct. I explained why I was confused and I was literally told "if you don't like it you can go somewhere else!". I replied with "No no, I am just making sure I understand and letting you know". Jeez. Unfortunately that really put me off. This is a shame because they are the only place to offer GLUTEN FREE fried Chinese food and their orange beef is AMAZING!! I really do not feel comfortable placing an order though :(

We used to come here fairly regularly and was always really happy with the food. Lunch special always had good portions and lots included. They have really gone downhill recently. The special consisted of some stale white rice, a few pieces of steamed brocolli, and a VERY small portion of chicken. No noodles, no rangoons...not even a fortune cookie. Disappointing to say the least.

Spent well over a hundred dollars and received 3 fortune cookies, no "free special bonus offer" as we should have, and the satay chicken that we order had absolutely zero flavour. Whatever sauce is meant to be on there (usually peanut) it was absolutely not present. It was cornstarch and water. Crispy orange beef was not crispy, but chewy and soggy. And the kicker? They asked for a tip, when I went in myself to pick it up. Tip for what exactly????I used to LOVE the Hamilton location and while i haven't been there in ages, I thought I would try this one as I live in Burlington now. I don't know if they are different but the Hamilton one always had incredible food while this one, from what I have heard from others, does not. I won't be going back....

Such a rude customer service. The lady is very arrogant. I mean, that’s not how you treat your customer if you want them to keep coming back and order from you. I was placing my order for delivery and I didn’t know that you have to meet the 45$ mininum order so they can deliver it., As I was trying to order for more food, the lady hung up on me. Very rude.. you don’t deserve a customer And one of these days, no one will ever buy from you if you don’t change your attitude towards your customers. I will never ever order from this horrible people

Not friendly place. Forgot my order and asked to come pick it up offering a 10%discount. Lol I found out that 10% was provided anyway for all pickup orders. Food not great

Food was delicious ?So happy that we could order takeout and feel confident that our food was gluten free for a family member with Celiac Disease.Lemon Chicken, chicken balls were fantastic as well as the other dishes we tried.
Food quantity for the price is really bad. Other Chinese restaurants offer much bigger portions for a cheaper price. Do bother going here they are stingy and also rude

We hadn’t been here for a while, as there were some poor reviews. We thought we would try again and were very pleasantly surprised. The 3 person family meal was very good, especially the crispy orange beef. I think this will be our go to from now on.
