We have been to Loondocks several times, and have always enjoyed it. IMO it is a but pricey - dinner, drinks, dessert for three just under 400 w tip. But the food is very good and the service very attentive. Flourless chocolate cake very dense. Otherwise, enjoy !!

My wife and I went out for dinner just because it was Wednesday night. We shared crab cakes and had Lamb Wellington and Ontario Porchetta for mains. Service was friendly and efficient, but the environment was not inviting or warm, however, the food tasted good. Unfortunately, the following day both my wife and I developed gastrointestinal issues. When I called the restaurant, I spoke to the person who had served us and she remembered us. I said that I was calling to give her a heads-up on our issue. I was expecting to hear her say, "Thanks for the information, I hope you feel better soon and I will inform the chef and hope to see you back soon". However, she informed me that no one else had called to report such an issue and continued to inform me that there was a lot of flu going around and that was what our problem was. I am not a stranger to the hospitality industry and commercial kitchens so I find the response unacceptable and I cannot give a favorable rating to food that I believe made us ill and a put down on our issue. I give a toast to dining at home.

First valentine day living in Burlington to find such a restaurant out here is amazing. Loondocks is a dining experience that I expect downtown Toronto. Both my wife and I have food allergy concerns they were able to make substitutes for gluten, nuts and dairy this made our dining choices on a valentines day fix menu amazing. The staff treated us well in all aspects of our dining experience. Loondocks is a must if you are in the Burlington area. Hope you enjoy I it did

Canadian cuisine. Lots of variety on the menu. My Arctic char was cooked to perfection. My husband's steak was too. Excellent service. We sat near the fireplace on a cold day which was delightful. We will definitely go back.

Loondocks is has got to be one of the best restaurants in Ontario, everything about the experience is 5-star all the way. First and foremost the food is nothing short of spectacular. I ordered a 3 course with Poached Pear Salad and Yukon Arctic Char Filet, also had some Manitoba Elk Sliders, everything was literally perfect. Our server Olivia was excellent, explained the menu very well, she was charming and checked on us during each round to make sure we had everything we needed, it would have been hard to do any better. All the other supporting staff were very well mannered and made our experience for my Dad’s 71st birthday impeccable. Even if I showed up here on at the end of a bad day and I tried to find something wrong, it would be a huge challenge. I can promise, no matter what the occasion is you go here for, it’s going to be a 10/10. I live over 30 mins away but it’s a damn short drive given the reward. Treat yourself, friends and family by going to Loondocks, it will be hard not to go back! Thank you team Loondocks!

Visiting from out of town, first visit and we will definitely be back. The food - crab cakes, salads, artic char and lamb Wellington - was excellent, our server (Heather) was terrific and the pace of service was just right. Would highly recommend Loondocks for a special occasion or just an enjoyable dinner with friends.

I would recommend Loondocks and would go back there, however the wine menu is expensive for a 6 oz glass - $11 - $15, $18? The Taste of Burlington lunch burger was the same price as on their regular menu, Loondocks Angus burger $25 the dessert made the Taste price $33.00 still glad I checked it out with 2 friends and the server Mandy was excellent.

Excellent food and service. Our server, Heather, was so attentive and warm. We liked that the tables were nicely spaced apart so it never felt noisy or like your neighbours were too close. It is on the pricey side, like all good-quality restaurants these days, but it was a very special night out and we loved everything!
