Food was okay but the wait of over 40 min. for fish and chips during off hours was unacceptable. Although they advertise fish and chips with tartar sauce and cole slaw, there was no slaw because apparently they run out over a week ago??? I guess making or buying a new batch is not a priority. We didn’t get any substitute, only an explanation they were out after we asked about it. We also had to ask for utensils after food was finally served and it took another 5 minutes to get a fork and knife. Definitely not worth it. Won’t be back.

ENORMOUS PORTIONS!!! I am NOT one to complain about getting a great bang for your buck meal, but GOOD LORD! Giving these kinds of portions will run the place out of business!!!Kid #1 had a foot long hot dog and fries. Ate everything but a couple fries, his review was "SUPER YUMMY!"Kid #2 had chicken fingers and fries. Chicken fingers are a little over breaded, but came out hot and the plum sauce added some tastiness.Wife had cabbage rolls which comes with a HUGE serving of "mashed" potatoes along with anoth heaping portion of peas and carrots. Veggies were just steamed from frozen, and we're fine, cabbage rolls are apparently made in house, and we're good, but "the frozen Roma cabbage rolls from Fortinos are better", says my wife. The "mashed" potatoes, I call them that because the were basically boiled potatoes that just got smashed open, which is FINE, but mashed potatoes are supposed to be rather whipped and quite creamy. The Real unfortunate thing about the potatoes was the were smothered in thick goopy gravy that was not hot and the only seasoning in the gravy that you could taste was salt... ALLOT OF SALT! It made the potatoes inedible. Such a shame and such a waste of food. My in-laws very much enjoyed the salmon eggs Benedict and the deep fried shrimp over yellow rice with a huge Greek salad. The rice and the home fries that came with the eggs got about 1/4 finished before tapping out on them. Again.... TOOOO big a portion. For me, I had the Philly cheese steak sandwich, which was quite under whelming, lacked seasoning and the cheese was nowhere near melted enough, just meh really. I also ordered a poutine, which the fries were very tasty, BUT... that cold thick, gloopy and VERY SALTY gravy smothered all over, making it impossible to eat and enjoy. The gravy wasn't even hot enough to melt the shredded cheese (not cheese curds) that were under the gravy and on the fries. It's such a shame to waste so much food.Place was very busy, it shouldn't have been, 3 or 4 dine in tables including my party of 6 plus Skip/Uber eats orders, should NOT be overwhelming, BUT, with 1 server and 1 guy in the kitchen (both of whom are very nice)... They were indeed overwhelmed. Took over 45 minutes for our food to come.We did get a plate (more like a platter) of fries as comp for the long wait, which was nice but considering the portion sizes... completely not necessary. We did try 2 of the deserts, the date square (microwaved from frozen - I know this because it was warm in the outside area but cold in the middle - and a apple crumble cheese cake - both tasted fine enough, but again, much too big. My 2 inlaws couldn't finish the cheese cake and the date square was the size of my hand, my wife and I together couldn't finish itPrices were reasonable. Staff were apologetic and friendly, but unfortunately we won't be coming back. Skyway dinner is closer to us and the quality of food is better with much more reasonable portion sizes.Advice... trim down the menu a bit, focus on what you do best, and DEFINITELY reduce the portion sizes (by at least a third).

Jarred put together a lovely family breakfast today for our a group of 18. He prepared all the food we asked for and it was all you can eat. He customized our menu, including all our favourites. The day off he went above and beyond providing us with more options than we even asked for. Great job

We had Easter Brunch at Luke’s. The whole family enjoyed a buffet of a big variety of tastiness. We were a large group (20) andJared and staff accommodated us all with anything we wanted. Food is good and service is great!Kid-friendliness: My granddaughter was able to go from table to table and she was also given extra attention by providing colouring book and play dough.

Luks, is one incredible diner, in which you can feel at home! It’s cute little atmosphere , of both Greek and vintage retro design is one to be admired. However, the top notch service and make you feel like family service is outstanding! Andrea, Jarrot and staff work so hard to make sure you have the best time from the minute you walk I. The door until you leave. Always smiling and able to share a laugh. The food is also top notch and with everything being from scratch, especially thier chicken noodle soup and the best grilled cheese in town, along with some amazing milkshakes, you’ll always leave with full belly and a smile! Highly recommend anyone to visit and especially those who are from out of town. You won’t regret it! It’s definitely a family vibe! My family had our Christmas party there and they closed out the restaurant just for us, we had an amazing holiday buffet and created some awesome memories! Go get your taste and positive vibes at Luks, it’s awesome!Parking: Great parking lot with tons of spots!Kid-friendliness: Definitely family friendly with kid friendly tastes!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy accessiblity with ramp for easy entry !

I should have read current reviews before I placed a take out order. Obviously, this diner was good before an ownership change, even though I had never been there. Sadly, the food was basically inedible and mostly was thrown away. I got soup with my chicken sandwich, and it was honestly like they gave me a bowl of cheap marinara sauce. The gravy I ordered for the fries...well...you could taste the powder mixture in it. The rice with my husband's chicken soulvaki was like leftover fried rice from a bad Chinese takeout restaurant. I could go on, but I think you get the picture. Sadly, whoever bought this restaurant is in way over their heads and the diner is on it's last legs...or maybe just leg.

The restaurant itself is very small with limited seating. The staff were friendly but our server never checked on us after giving us our food. We went for breakfast and both ordered omelettes. The food was pretty average, the home fries were the highlight. It is odd that they charge you 75 cents for choosing rye toast. Overall, nothing exciting that would make me want to go back.

Food was ok and the portions were huge, but it all came trickling out quite slowly. Service was terrible, it’s obvious she’s new at this and has never been trained, and the place needs cleaning.

I came here for Greek food a while back, and it was amazing. I guess there has been a change in owners because I went recently and the Greek food was totally different. Gyro seemed like pre-packaged frozen meat. Not shaved but just pre cut squares. So disappointing. BUT I will say the people seem so nice and eager to help. Great service. Perhaps they should drop some items from the menu and focus on stuff they can prepare well.
