It was meant to be a special occasion dinner, since Greek food is my favorite. However it was very disappointing.

We had a fun time at MYTHOS, but the food was a bit hit or miss. The appetizer dips were amazing with so much flavor! Also loved the pita bread. However, the Mediterranean fish platter we ordered was okay. I really had higher expectations. The soup was delicious, but the potatoes and fish needed a lot more seasoning. Our friends loved the chef's special chicken platter, especially the sauce. One thing we all agreed on was that the rice across all our meals was plain. It was kinda disappointed.

Just a great restaurant with some of the best Greek food around. The service is excellent. Our server,Troy, was one of a kind! Hard to do better than him. Perfect dining experience.

We had a reservation here almost a week in advance and arrived 230pm yesterday (Sunday April 7,2024). They imposed on us an alleged “un-announced baptism party” with approximately 10-15 screaming and crying infants as well as poorly behaved children running around the restaurant directly across from us.The parents, lacking any situational awareness also occupied the entrance with a stroller being pushed back and forth (blanketed to calm a distraught screaming infant). At the very minimum this is a fire code violation not to mention an egregious sense of entitlement. The bill for my table of five was very inexpensive for what was ordered however almost all of us had immediate GI reaction to the food (for which I had to walk across the street to Starbucks to address as the men’s room was disgusting). The food was aesthetically appealing however the plate my brother and I had (platter for two) included dried almost to a crisp gyro meat (some of it was crunchy), soggy calamari, and cold souvlaki. I had to ask the waitress for a drink menu, they only brought warm tap water to start, not even any ice.I am furious that the restaurant would allow other patrons to book a table during a children/infant baptism party. There were screaming infants, ill behaved children wandering around into our section and intrusive parents walking over to our table with their infants showcasing their offspring and disrupting us while we were trying to eat.The men’s room was wretched and over capacity from said party and their over indulgence’s resultant excretion. There is zero ventilation in the men’s room and only one stall.I will NEVER be back, I can’t believe they have such a good rating even despite the aforementioned overbooking. They should have booked the restaurant for a private event instead of having innocent paying customers booked during that ridiculous obnoxious “baptism party”. I have never had such a horrible experience at a restaurant EVER.A brief look into the kitchen on the way to the men’s room confirmed the cause of the GI issue. I do not recommend dining here, Johnny Greeko’s is a thousand times better than this dump. I definitely recommend Johnny Greeko’s instead, I have never had a problem there and their food is a thousand times better.https://johnnygreekos.ca/menu

Ordered the Spanakopita as an appetizer for pick up I paid for my order thought to myself for an appetizer this is quite expensive maybe they gave me a full order like a main entree since it was $19.86 plus I wanted a dipping sauce which was other $5 the lady was nice so I rounded it off to $27.00 but then thinking to myself in the car for an APPETIZER $27 bucks!! So I get home and I open it up and to my amazement there’s two of the smallest wedges you can imagine !!! I called just to verify that possibly there was error in communication the lady said no it’s $19.86 and you got dipping sauce !! And the crazy part is that there wasn’t that much spinach in it and it really wasn’t that good !! We’ll I don’t believe I will be going back to that restaurant !!

We expected a better food. Its quality was better a year ago, something changed, it is not the best now. I'll look for a better greek restaurant.

Having previously enjoyed Mythos ( dine in) , we Ordered take away Moussaka tonight , it came with choice of soup or salad - most disappointed - soup was a tasteless rice concoction ; Moussaka was tasteless , bland , not even a hint if tomato , it went into the garbage ( I make better myself ) !

I have tried most items on the menu....but my all time favorite dish is anything pasta. But seriously everything is great. And the feta cheesecake is out of this world delicious. Oh and you have to try the grilled octopus & calamari.

I am not sure maybe it was an off night, but I was very disappointed. Reading all these positive reviews I expected great greek food and what we had was far from it. Starting with the pitas and greek salad and beet salad, all lack of flavour and not exciting. My favourites dip Tzatziki was lemony tasting and I didn't like it at all. The Gyros was dry, the Souvlaki lacked flavour, the potatoes boring, and the rice tasted not fresh and had corn in it? Overall, disappointing. Will not go back.
