“Were at Burro last night before a live music show which was nice as it was so close nearby. Very good food!! Fresh, flavourful and interesting and extensive drinks menu to try. Love the flights option.Personally as we were there very early (5:30/6), I just went with the WAP ~ Watermelon and Peach) Margarita which was a little too good, lol ~ had to order a second versus trying another flavour, which was also tempting. We tried the chorizo pork belly nachos to start, followed by brisket and fish tacos, achiote chicken and ground pork/beef tacos too (two tacos each) and all were delicious as well as generously portioned.Think tapas — you can mix and match and try as you go which is fun. We had time before our show so liked the aspect that there was so much on the menu that appealed to us to potentially choose from.Couldn’t pass up dessert, two great choices but as we were pretty full we opted on splitting the waffle churro which was amazing. There was a unique sugar cookie dessert with key lime mascarpone on the menu that sounded amazing too. Liked seeing an alternative second option alongside a churro option.Nice relaxed vibe and intimate atmosphere and attentive and friendly service, (Emma served our table). Will definitely be back to try the patio in summer! (The nachos were probably best ever sampled so hopefully they’ll still be a menu offering then…)Last thing I’ll say is the choice to eat out comes at a premium these days with everything being so expensive but we found the value and food was very reasonably priced. “We love this location. What can I say my husband and I shared a legendary meal here that was sadly not be be repeated. We ordered a special combo meal that had a double stuffed taco, lots of things to try and came with chips and cheese. We both recall that special meal as the best Taco Bell meal we've both ever had. We've since returned and haven't been able to replicate the exprience, but its still good.“

It's suitable for a date, though not ideal for those seeking substantial portions. I particularly enjoyed the drinks, especially the Devils Avocado and the Mexican Lager. However, the wait was longer than usual, nearly 1.5 hours. Despite traveling from Toronto to discover this restaurant, I wasn't disappointed overall. However, if you're craving a hearty meal, it might not be the best choice.“

“Big, spacious location, reasonably clean & large individual, mobility & gender-friendly washrooms [at least at the time of my visit]. My high school friend since 25 years ago hadn't had Taco Bell in THREE. YEARS. Last year, I ordered UberEats from the location in question [677 Upper James] & was hesitant because the portions didn't match the crazy price I paid but that's UE for you. So high school friend was visiting me from Montréal where the people are far too picky for junk tacos. We grew up hankering The Bell back in Scarborough on a regular basis as it was relatively close to our school & the nostalgia was eating us alive so we just had to go & she drove us to one of the nicest locations in Hamilton [again, 677 Upper James]. Food was warm, generous amount & varieties of salsa, vegetarian needs perfectly accommodated [she's veg, I'm flex], refillable fountain pop, incredibly friendly staff [I knew I was being annoying because I wanted everything & with veg substitutions]. Thank you for the unforgettable experience. Will probably be back with my man.“
