Great friendly pub! Haven't been here in 30 years and decided to walk in with a friend. Glad we did! Decent prices and good food! Red wine ? cheap. We're sold! Will be back for sure! Actually, I was back the next day with my husband. Poacher burger and fries excellent! Hubby was happy, and he's picky lol ?Parking: Parking on site that is free!

Had lunch with the family. Fantastic french fries, some of the best I have ever had. No fault of the restaurant, but the club sandwich I had had the bacon I am finding everywhere. Way too salty and WAY too smoky. I mean, I LOVE bacon a lot, but the bacon many places are serving is downright gross. Nice place, great staff, amazing selection of beer. And fantastic fries. Would definitely go back.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian son had no issues finding a number of items to choose from.

Fantastic place! Burlington's oldest British pub doesn't disappoint. Staff is great and so is the food. The curry and chips is still on the menu (just buried under the 'fries' section) and is the perfect app or complement to your fish and chips. I will definitely be back again.

This place was perfectly comfortable to sit down and have a few beers or some pub food. Unfortunately we saw a description that touted this place as having good cocktail and whiskey selection but it really was more of a run of the mill $5 pint kind of bar. If that's what you're looking for, it's perfect.

felicia was average during our time there until last call when she asked us what we wanted. we asked for some to go drinks and a round of shots before we left. the drinks we asked for to go were out of stock, but we never got asked if we wanted something else, and therefore just got nothing. the shots what we asked for never came, and there was no explanation and frankly she was just rude about it and didn’t care about us as customers. she was very dismissive and her behaviour didn’t seem to surprise her co workers when we brought it up to them. ver bad taste in our mouths leaving this place that we typically enjoy going to.
