Horrible experience. Ordered a party tray through skip the dishes. The sashimi and sushi were old and definitely not fresh. The taste was off, we stopped eating it after a few bites because we were afraid of getting sick. My husband and I were loyal customers of this place until today. We would always order for dinner versus lunch. No clue what happened with this lunch order but they've definitely lost a loyal customer. Praying we don't get sick from the few bites we did have. Really bad.

Fast and friendly service. I have been coming here at times for over 15 years. Food is still amazing as always. I recommend to try rock shrimp.

I always come here and they never disappoint. Great food, friendly staff. Also the fastest service of any sushi places I have been to. I could eat here everyday ?

My girlfriend and I often go to Sushi Asano and usually enjoy it (Keeping in mind we eat everything other than the sushi) Gary is great, always so sweet and doesn't miss a beat. The younger servers could use some help as they seem pretty spoiled but what else do you expect from high school kids that were raised in Burlington.

I wish I could give them no stars. Firstly, we ordered through skip the dishes and the reasturaunt confirmed our order-it even said they started preparing it. After a ridiculously long wait we called the restaurant who said they never got an order. We re ordered our food only for a small cockroach to come crawling out from the bento box. Absolutely disgusting, I will never order food here again.

This is my favourite local sushi spot! I've heard of a few other good ones, but when it comes to sushi, it can be a real hit or miss, and I don't want to take that chance! Besides, The Sushi Asano is consistently delicious and never disappoints! The ingredients are fresh, there is lots of variety, and although I usually order pick up, I have also dined in a few times, and can say that the staff and service are great also! They also have a beautiful bathroom which is always a bonus! :)

I have ordered from here many times, both through delivery apps and dine in. Quality of the food is always amazing. I have never experienced an issue here. One of the top places for great sushi. Prices are fair given today's costs for food. The negative reviewers here really need to wash their upper lip if they complain about foul smelling food, because quality and cleanliness have never been an issue with this place. The restaurant has been more on the quiet side since the pandemic and the cost of living doesn't help much either. Its not an indication of the restaurants quality, as some reviews have mentioned. All in all, its an amazing place for Japanese cuisine and Sushi.

Very good All you can eat. Variety of plates that suits every taste. Very reasonable price for very good quality food.

I ordered through skip the dishes so I can only speak of the food which I thought was really well done! I had the makimono set A and octopus sashimi and everything was delicious and presented very nicely. I had august 8 sushi a few weeks ago and it was so sloppy and the tastes were off so having sushi prepared well was a nice treat for moi.

Great job, Food was fast fresh and hot, decor is not very good but the food was delicious and the service was on point.

Been here a several times and the food and service are always fantastic. Looks like they are doing a reno right now so the atmosphere is a bit off for the moment. Prices have really gone up (as with most restaurants trying to recover from lock downs) and it's now $75 before tax & tip for 2 people all you can eat. Considering my partner and I only have average size appetites it's getting on the expensive side to go on a regular basis.4 stars only because of the increased price (especially off weekend, Monday night) and the reno. The food and service continue to be excellent!!

Asano used to be my favorite sushi place in Burlington. I like the lay out and the atmosphere, parking... Unfortunately the quality went down over the years so I stopped coming often. The second last time I went the salmon sushi was foul smelling so they gave me a 5 dollar gift card. No apology or explanation. I decided i'll never go again but yesterday a friend of mine convinced me to go. We arrived today, the place was completely empty. After we put out order in, I notice one of the cooks doing a shallow nose pick/scratch. I was grossed out but would have convinced myself it was just a scratch so I don't entirely ruin my appetite. Sadly I saw him rolling his fingers around, which he still had up near his face. I told the server and he didn't apologize just blankly stared at me and said "they wear gloves". Thanks but my appetite was gone. We had already had a few items on the table but I decided I can't eat there. Will NEVER be back again. The service is horrible, the food is never consistent, and now this... No wonder there is no one there. I'll gladly continue going to another popular place for a few extra bucks, even if the parking sucks. Clueless management, just serve fresh food, interact with customers, show some concern for customer issues, and don't pick your damn nose and roll your booger.

Not so good of a sushi place. Probably should have understood it earlier as there were no people when we entered on the weekend but decided to try it out anyways. Sushi wasn’t rolled tight, food lacked flavour, any fried item was fried in old oil, service took a while even though there was only 2 tables in total and plenty of employees.Unfortunately will not be back.
