This establishment requires a credit card deposit for a reservation. And if you don't show up ( say you're sick, have an emergency etc or simply change your mind ) they charge at least $100 to your card. They said the reason is that they are so busy that they need to know people are going to show up. If they're that busy, why would they need to worry about a random reservation that had to cancel?? This place has a lot of nerve. I wanted to book for my Mom's 75th birthday but was turned off right away.

The worst of the worst. Hot dog bun was quite soggy, and fell apart. I heard alot of swearing from the kitchen, saw numerous other "issues". Don't waste your money here, not to mention it is just too expensive for what they give you. THUMBS DOWN.

Service is way too slow ... after waiting for half an hour to get our two hotdogs and fries, they gave our fries to the other customer who just recently ordered.

A really lovely spot in Burlington! I came here for a Wedding and the venue was amazing!! Views by the water were incredible! The servers and staff were very accommodating and friendly. I also LOVED the food. The menu was inventive and fun - the apple crumble dessert was delish but unfortunately I didn't get a snap of it because it was too busy eating it. Definitely recommend this spot and will be excited to go back!

I know.. what is a Richmond Hill'billy doing all the way in BurlingtonIA!!! Well, it's to get to Spencer's on the Waterfront! This is the premier destination for all that is amazing about the Waterfront out west of Toronto. The location is amazing. During the summer, it's the spot to go for walks and spend time with fam and friends. During the evenings, you can just take in the lights and the waves. There are playscapes, and for winter fun, there is a skating rink just below the restaurant. Something is always happening at the park.Anyway, let me tell you about Spencer's. The funny white rubber tire peep that gives stars that look like the Yelp Logo missed Burlington! And if they were out there, Spencer's should be a bright shining star. BUT who needs it...!!! Spencer's is what I consider the best of Burlington. From the moment you step into their restaurant and event space, you get that the feeling that it's going to be great night - cue The Black Eye Peas!Food here is incredible. Every course is delicious. The chefs really know how to put a proper cook on the meats and seasoning is always on point for their dishes. Their dessert game has really been up'ped since my last visit. Everything is made in house with the freshest and best ingredients. That seafood tower was so fresh, i swear that the lobster and crab could walk off the table and take the oysters with them. Yikes! LOL!The people here are attentive, friendly, and they deliver what we expect from a fine dining establishment such as Spencer's.OK... yes, this place will put you back a few bucks or pay checks, but totally worth it. Perfect dining place for celebrations or just the special night out with a love one. Or you're just a foodie and you have to try the best place in town. :)Recommendations? Sure... get the seafood tower, the pasta was great. Their duck don't disappoint. Burrata... oh yes please! Heck... get the whole menu, you are going to enjoy yourself. If you need a dinner date... I'm sure I can free myself for this place! TeeHeeHee...!!!CHEERS!!!!

The food is expensive, nothing extraordinary. Their brunch services are hit and miss. Their waitresses can be snobby and rude. I do not recommend this restaurant.

We came here as a group of 10+. My partner and I shared a Ceasar salad, braised beef, and a hamburger. We found it overly salty and tasteless. Service took longer, but it was a busy Friday night. The restaurant is beautiful and has an event space with a gorgeous water view.

Amazing view and delicious food! Service was a bit slow at first but I think it was not communicated that we were seated in this person's section. Took a while to get menus and finally put an order in.Everything was smooth sailing from there! Got a delicious blueberry mule drink and ordered some dishes to share.Loved the Ceasar salad which comes with baby kale. The tartar was amazing!!! And the eggs Benny over crab cakes was delish. The Brussel sprouts we're a bit heavy in roasty flavor but still great. Would return again if we're ever in the area maybe on a day with nicer weather for a better view. The only iffy thing is the parking. Paid parking is a bit ridiculous. They don't have a lot, so where it looks like their lot, it's actually the city's. Definitely don't forget to get your paid parking ticket cause they check
