Driving through Caledonia and decided to stop in.for a late dinner. Our party ordered BBQ staples - smoked wings, ribs and burgers. The food was excellent, and with many great beer selections available, we were beyond satisfied. Everyone was filled with their portions, great value. Also, prior to our departure the band Route 6 started their set! Fabulous! We will be back!

There must be new owners. Not one BBQ item on the menu. All the regular food items are gone. Service was unbelievable. Server didn't know the specials or what was on tap. She only took half the tables' order before walking away, nor could she work the debit machine. Food was extremely slow coming from the kitchen.

Review date: Jan 25 2024. First time setting foot into this building in 24 years -previously Wiggies. (Ordered Wiggies wings on take out 24 years ago and noticed feather stems on my first wing thus my order went into the garbage lmao) This has no reflection on Hammer Hogs Caledonia however.Moving forward two decades +...."Reviewed the reviews" before coming last night and was skeptical for the food ordering but came with a large group of 8 people and was primarily there to see the Walter James Band. 6 people ordered from menu which consisted of house wings/ sliders/ chicken fingers w' fries/ deep fried ravioli/ vegan burger. Every meal including my own was very well enjoyed. (Can't speak for the bbq fare which this restaurant is focused on) . Large portions/ meals came out at the same time- (cafeteria tray style) with no issues whatsoever. Two very pleasant servers were running off their feet all night. Drinks were never ever delayed . Servers ran like clockwork and were very organized. Unsure if the other reviews are the real deal that are slagging this establishment.This place , in a nutshell, is for co workers/friends/locals getting together to: 1) have a simple beer 2)watch sports on six huge tv's 3) catch a live band 4) eat deep fried or bbq pub style fare 5) have a laugh. Nothing more - nothing less. Don't expect many healthy choices on the menu as this is not the place for it lol.Entertainment: The Walter James band were fantastic. Massive repertoire of songs spanning all music styles from old to current. If you have a favourite you want to hear, I'm sure they know it. Very talented duo.Washrooms are huge and meant for one person at a time with auto door lock push button lol. They are even equipped with an" emergency button" beside the toilet lmao. What kind of emergency would be expected on the toilet? Who knows lol.Tons of parking BEHIND the restaurant with a back entry.*Only minor gripe for me is they do not carry Stella Artois on tap( to me the most single popular beer in the world...) and no red wine available but again, this place is for the beer swilling crowd.I've been to many restaurants and my reviews are on point( when I choose to leave one) I hope this review creates some fresh interest in coming here. You may need reservations on important game or entertainment nights. All 8 of us had a fantastic time. Will be back for sure.

My wife and I loved this place from the day it opened. It was a stop on the way home after a Ticat game for a drink and sometimes a snack. Unfortunately the one thing we loved at this place was taken off the menu. The burnt ends were an awesome treat. Everyone we had introduced to them loved them. Not sure why something so good was taken away.Parking: Public parking across the street

Food was bad, service was terrible, owner was there but doesnt want to be bothered with complaints of service, atmosphere is "if you dont look like us we'll treat you different". Does not represent Caledonia, does not represent good bbq, does not represent good customer service. Not sure what they stand for or what the purpose of the restaurant is other than make patrons feel uncomfortable and unwanted.

I'm not from caledonia area , so I found this restaurant just by rate 3.8 but I believe the rate is not fair ... I found the taste of north America bbq here !!Food was awesome special brisket , pull pork !!!Warm and very friendly atmosphere!!!I will back here for sure later .Thanks Chef and servants !!!

Went to this place with a party of 7 and it was the worst dining experience I have ever encountered. First off we ordered our drinks and appetizers. Drinks came fairly quickly but the app. took a little longer than expected in fairness the apps were pretty good. The main course took forever to come out and when it did it was cold terrible. The food came out in dribbles and drabs and 1 person in the party never did get a meal. This place seems like they are just a bar and serving food only as required.FYI I never leave reviews but I felt I had to in this case.
