I have only had breakfast at the Galtview. Many times over the last 4-5 yrs. The so called hash browns are terrible. IMO they are inedible. And they have the same kind for years. The sausages are poor quality too. I have eaten breakfast at most places in Cambridge, and this one is the worst. The manager of this place is incompetent (clueless) as far as knowing what good hash browns are and what good breakfast sausages are. Coffee is on the strong and bitter side. The only good thing about this place is that they have a fairly large room for private gatherings. I am not aware of any other place in Cambridge that has something comparable.

We would like to thank Galt View Restaurant for helping us host our family and friends this weekend. Our daughter celebrated her First Communion and we had such a great experience with Galt View. Wendy and her staff are incredible. Easygoing, warm, and welcoming environment with delicious food and spacious mingling area at the front of the restaurant. Special thank you to Rose, an exceptional waitress, who took care of our guests with such attentiveness. We are so happy that Galt View hosted our event-- we will most certainly be back again. Good place to eat, don't change anything, don't come up with new ideas, this here works. Come here for liver and onions and mushy peas. Don't need experience, just good food , fairly cheap too.

One of the best places in town to get breakfast. They have great prices and very friendly staff. If you go before 7 you can also get a special deal on their standard breakfast. Coffee is good and the food is always fresh and hot. Sometimes it does take a little bit of time for food to come out of the kitchen but that is generally when it is busy (and also means the food is cooked to order). If you’re wondering where to get a good breakfast for a great price look no further!

My friend took me to the Galt View Restaurant for a hearty breakfast. Conveniently located across from the hospital and close to everything. The staff are so friendly, I felt like one of the family! Great portions and the prices are reasonable. The attentive and friendly staff made sure we were leaving happy and fed.

This is the best place to eat........period.the service is second to none and the food is great.ive been going there with my wife for 3-1/2 years for breakfast,not to mention the countless dinners with groups such as 4H .coudos to Jamie and all the staff,keep up the great work

Have not been here in years but a friendly place with a great breakfast is being harder to find. Fast service and big enough for physical distancing between tables and booths is a great feature. Would definitely make this a regular breakfast destination.
