This is one of my favourite spots. It’s in an old stone school house. The food is great. My fav spot for fish and chips. Always packed. The owner is often there with a tray of craft beer samples on a tray and he circulates chatting to people. They try as much as possible to support beer and food suppliers. The wine list is not my fav but it is is a pub. They have a loyal customer base so they don’t need my review.

I have been here for gatherings twice before and today I came for lunch with my family. Every time that hi have been here, it was a joyful experience. The staff are awesome: they are knowledgeable of the menu and are super friendly. The food according to my 10 year old is “to high five for.” The beer selection is great. The food is locally sourced. It is a feel good experience all around.

Definitely an A+ craft beer bar. I miss beer bars. Coming from Rochester, NY they've all disappeared as our local craft beer scene has blown up and people just go direct to breweries. But this place was wonderful by any measure.Great selection of excellent local beers, even a couple of cask options, and if that's not your thing the whiskey wall likely has you covered.The food was also excellent. I had the special, which was a deluxe grilled cheese and tomato soup, one of my favorite comfort food combos. Both parts were fantastic. She had a turkey club and side salad, loved both. And they also own a very good ice cream shop if you want dessert.Also have to give a mention to our bartender, Jada. She was excellent at every level. Could speak knowledgeably about the beer menu, whiskey, and made great recommendations for food. On top of that, was one of the most friendly and welcoming bartenders we've encountered in our very, very extensive beer travels. Asked our names once and then spoke to us like we were friends and regulars the rest of our time there. Almost everyone else that came in she already knew their name and, in some cases, their orders. The kind of bartender that can turn a good experience into a memorable one and makes you want to come back.We will definitely be back next time we're in the area and recommend to anyone else.
