Ordered takeout and got really large portions for the C7 combination platters. Flavour was great and service was excellent. Like many other small Chinese restaurants, Empress appears to have fallen on hard times, evidenced by their dated interior. The reason I'm leaving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they do not have dine-in available. The chairs and tables were blocked by caution tape strung across. The friendliest staff. Always greeted with a smile. Food is always hot and delicious. Have done many pick up orders and some delivery orders and always on time. They even made me dinner during a power outage. They were cooking by candlelight and flashlights. And still smiling! My favorite restaurant for take out.
