We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, Green Chicken Curry, and Shrimp Curry. I was somewhat underwhelmed. I noticed that the meats seemed to be cooked separately from their sauces. On the bright side, the lunch special curries were generously filled with vegetables, which was a plus. However, I couldn't help but feel that the flavors were somewhat tailored to suit North American palates.Interestingly, I overheard a nearby table discussing their long-standing patronage, spanning an impressive 30 years. “The food here is delicious! Passes the kid test too. We have been there twice and the food has not disappointed. The beef kebabs were out of this world, and the pickled carrots and cucumber were crisp and delicious. The crispy noodles are a family favourite, just so crisp and when they soak up the gravy, YUM! We’ve previously had the pho and the flavours of the broth is one of the best I’ve had. It seems the next dish to try is the Pad Thai!“

We were skeptical because it looks like a fairly simple spot.Read the reviews and decided to give their famous veal sandwhich a try.The lady who greeted us was sweet and funny and gave us a real Italian Homey feel.I wish I took a picture of the sandwiches but we inhaled them!The bread was moist and fluffy not dense and dry like lots of veal sandwhich we’ve gotten elsewhere.The tomato sauce was so flavorful and sweet yet simple.The veal was so tasty and stayed crispy even when coated in the delicious tomato sauce. Our first but not our last visit. We’ve lived in Aurora for 8 years and can’t believe we didn’t find this spot sooner!If you’re looking for authentic Italian food made with love…this is it! ❤️ ? ??“

Service was very good. I never ate such a great shrimp tempura! WOW, WOW, WOW! Highly recommend!!! And for you to understand, I like sushi, but not too crazy about it. Secondly they were stuffed to the brim with topping. They offer 3 toppings plus cheese for about $12 bucks before tax.Very friendly on the phone placing the order, very friendly picking up.The person I shared this with said"It's nice when you pay for food to see that it's actually made with love and care" and they are right. “I’m a long time Chip+Malt customer since they first opened when I was in high school which was 8 or so years ago. The best fish + chips by far in Newmarket and still the same quality from when I first started eating here. The customer service here is always great as well with the staff always engaging my guests and myself as well making us feel welcome. Even the ice cream, chowder, and other items are fantastic, I will always come back here for as long as it stays open (which is hopefully forever)!“

I have a lot of health restrictions and always on the look out for healthy food options (bonus if vegetarian/vegan). So glad to have found this spot!! When asking about the server's reco, they mentioned their burger was tasty but knowing I was in a bit of a rush, suggested the Crunch Wrap Supreme with vegan queso and packed with veggies. It was absolutely delicious!!! I don't think I've inhaled anything faster. I've been dreaming of it since and will be back to try their other menu options :) The servers were super friendly as well. “We frequently go to the Davis Diner and the service and food has always been good. When we went there today we got a pleasant surprise. Their Easter Specials were advertised by the door and the “Roast Lamb” caught our attention and we decided to give it a try. The lamb was cooked perfectly; tender, moist and nicely seasoned. It was served with mashed potatoes, grilled vegetables and garlic bread. The sauce that came with the lamb was also very good. This exceptional meal was reasonably priced at just under $20. Dinner for 2 with coffee and tea came to just over $50 with tax. Well done Davis Diner.“

Maddie the General Manager and Mixologist (Best Old Fashioned on Main Street - see photo of Maddie) always ensure a great visit. It’s like hanging with your good friends. “The Maids Cottage offers very delicious and freshly baked butter tarts, and other pastries, with unique and seasonal flavours! I've visited this shop twice and both times, all of their products were freshly baked and absolutely delicious! Some of the butter tarts can be a tad too sweet, so it's best to ask the staff which flavours are less sweet, if you're sensitive to too much sweetness/sugar; for me, I don't mind and as I visit every so often, they're a real treat when I do visit to pick up a few tarts! The staff are always friendly, and the pastries and tarts are fairly priced for the quality received. The shop is located in historic Main Street, and I would suggest visiting during the mornings to have the best selections of flavours available. Always happy to visit this shop, thanks! :)“
