From Montreal visiting in Elmvale and treated to absolutely delicious Fish & Chips from Perky's, a cute little roadside stand. Lots of colorful flowers in hanging pots draw your eye. Atmosphere is cheerful. Friendly,courteous service of fish was that was excellent. Choice of fish too...Halibut,Haddock, Cod and Pickerel. We took Halibut and Pickerel. Perky's is a roadside fish and chippery which also sells hamburgers, hotdogs, etc. Their Haddock and fries are really exceptionally good. The fries are fresh cut - much better than the frozen fries you get at fast food restaurants. The fish is delicious and fresh. It is battered and deep fried.
