One thing about this place is that the food is good and the service is horrible. The main waitress only worries about her regular customers. As a first time customer, I don't agree with her having her somali boyfriend on the bar and talking to him the whole time instead of severing customers. She apparently manager for the servers and would not get me the owner. She needs to be rehired and deal with every customer ( instead of her boyfriend) especially for workers in the area that are there for lunch.

Came here tonight with my son, mom and brother. Food was delicious, vibes were great but most importantly the 2 servers tonight were so sweet and very respectful. Made sure me and my family were well taken care of and satisfied. Great restaurant!

The love you get as soon as you enter this establishment is compared to none! The staff is like family, very friendly. The owner Mr. Gangoram Persaud treats you like he’s known you forever! The food is like back home. Perfection! This is the spot i will ALWAYS stop off as soon as i get to toronto, while I am here and right before I leave!
Went to Caribbean Lyme for the first time today. We were excited to try a new place since the food at Guyanese restaurants these days are not very good like it used to be. It wasn’t very busy. Myself, my dad and my brother seat ourselves and waited 10 mins no one came over to our table. My dad had to call on one of the female working there and ask if there is a waitress working. We finally got our food and it’s not hot. No one came over to ask us if everything was ok or if we needed anything else. They would walk by us to go to the patio look in our direction and never once came over to see how everything was going. After we were finished we sat there for about 20 mins waiting for the waitress or someone that works there to come over and nothing. Again my dad called on one of the girl working there 3 times as she was walking by us (I am guessing it’s the owner’s daughter) and she completely ignored us my dad had to shout before she came over. When she came over she had total attitude asking what do we want…SMHThis is the first and last time. We will never go there again or recommend this place to anyone. I would give the service negative zero. It’s too bad cause the food was decent but probably would have been better if it was hot.I was going to do a take order since I am from Cambridge but we were so turned off by the service. NEVER AGAIN

first the service was crappy. I needed some hot water and was told the kettle was broken.
so we ordered 2 bottles of water and she brought them without a glass with the piece of lemon and told us we can drink off some of the water and put the piece of lemon in the bottle. really ..
