Very cozy family-run restaurant. I’m from Europe and I was surprised to find this place as it really reminded me of my time in Barcelona. Food tasted really good and their combo menus were well balanced and filling. And I loved their sangria!I went there for my Valentine’s dinner and it was a great choice!!The owners create a very friendly atmosphere and give you explanations about the food and the way the sauces are made and the history of their restaurant. Totally recommended!! I will come back for sure!!

This restaurant has the potential to be very good, and perhaps back in it's day it was. In 2024, I feel that where the atmosphere of authenticity is warm and cozy, the food was nothing to get excited about. The owner is a nice man who made efforts to speak with each group of dinner guests in the restaurant, so for that I tip my hat. I just feel it's a restaurant that is in need of a new head chef as apposed to the owner running the helm. I can't say the food was bad as such, rather I would describe it as average food you would get when visiting family and not necessarily at a restaurant by a trained Spanish chef. It was over priced for what was presented.I hope the owner(s) read the comments here as it seems to be a general theme. We all want you to do well, but some changes are needed in order to keep your diners returning for more.

We went for Winterlious and the paella was not even close to be good. It was just some fried rice with seafood. The rice they used seems to be just minute rice and whole dish has nothing to do with paella. The presentation was bad as well, looks like cheap buffet food in a plate.

I read not good reviews about the restaurant and I wanted to try by myself and I was very disappointed with the "Spanish " food and the presentations .I am familar very well with the Spanish cuisine, but in this restaurant the paella is more like with the Chinese food , but not Spanish paella, very bland, I could not taste this food at all. Some are okay, butif the restaurant position yourself with Spanish restaurant the chef must prepare the real Spanish food.

We were there for Winterlicious and we were really hoping to find great Spanish food in Toronto. The atmosphere was great and the staff were friendly and helpful and attentive. The food was, however, just OK. We ordered one of each of the price fixed Winterlicious menu items. They tasted OK but very bland. We were all used to the very flavorful Spanish food from the likes of California. Their paella/saffron rice were more like Chinese fried rice and also very bland. The best dish was their calamari appetizer. I really hope the owners would do something to spice up the food more and make it more flavorful.

My wife and I recently had the pleasure of dining out at Casa Barcelona after a long dining out hiatus, and it was truly a wonderful experience. From the moment we walked in, Eddy and Nivea welcomed us with open arms, creating an inviting and warm atmosphere.Eddy, our attentive host, went above and beyond to ensure our evening was memorable. He expertly guided us through a selection of four wines, all within our budget, allowing us to choose the perfect complement to our meal. His knowledge and passion for wine added a delightful touch to the evening. Now, let's talk about the food—every dish was a culinary delight! The team at Casa Barcelona has mastered the art of creating delicious, tantalizing tapas that leave a lasting impression. The flavours were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable. In summary, Casa Barcelona exceeded my expectations in every aspect. From the warm welcome to the exceptional wine selection and mouthwatering tapas, it was a delightful experience that I can't wait to repeat. If you're in the mood for a fantastic dining experience, I highly recommend Casa Barcelona.

First time to order take out dinner. my BF and IThey offered great customer service and explained everything from the menu, sizes and preparation. We ordered the main course paella chicken, 2 people can shared, the rice was tasty, I also ordered the san sebastian soup and omg!!! Was amazing flavour you wont be disappointed, is a seafood soup i love it!!! I also ordered shrimp ala diabla tapas and it was good really tasty as well. It comes with some bread too and it was really good experience, my bf enjoyed it and i was happy to try it something new for new year..For sure you won’t regreat it.About the prices . Prices are high, I assumed because of the area, but each dish is a delicacy of gods..Tapas means appetizers , so some dishes are small. And paellas main courses are good size to share for 2 people.

Honestly 2 mains 2 tapas 4 drinks $272.50 my opinion on the cuisine is not even mediocre 300 dollars would have been a better investment for new shoes for my wife. Seriously when we were passed the menus they dimmed the lights to hinder our abilty to clearly see the pricing. What you have is an eastern euopean claiming to have lived in spain. I cant tell anyone enough drive through McDonald's as bad as that seems. I will never be hooded again. Stay away to avoid disappointment, thievesRob
