I've had deep dish pizza from Giordano's in Las Vegas before, which is a world famous deep dish pizza place from Chicago, and Double D's is just as good in my opinion. I got a meat lovers deep dish pizza and it was incredibly delicious! If you got a hankering for some tasty deep dish pizza, Double D's will satisfy your cravings!

A huge disappointment, from the cheap tasting ingredients to the awful service. We didn't receive all of our order in the delivery and called multiple times to get it resolved, but they never answered. The next day we got in touch and their whole attitude was "so what" and really couldn't care less. Having gone into the store to get a refund we were disgusted by how dirty it looked and the lack of apparent hygiene. It's fair to say we shan't be using this store again.

Went to Double D's today for the first time and had a great experience! Ordered ahead of time and everything was ready within minutes of getting there, so it was hot and fresh. We tried the classic and farmers pizzas, and they tasted great. Staff was friendly as well. I hope to be back soon!

Great experience. I just had trouble trying to post a review here because I forgot to enable cookies here ("oops", now solved).Been there at least twice this year due to covid, I also posted another review 2 years ago when I wasn't quite satisfied with the quality at the time at their stockyards location. But after having that sudden "chicago pie" craving, I decided to pop into this joint down at Lakeshore and Islington via the Ritual app (!!Remember!! These pizzas take at least 30-45 minutes to cook because of its deep dish nature), and I was quite impressed with the quality and freshness of the product, even if the sauce and cheese started spilling out (at least not "dripping out" :) ).This is also quite filling, cheesy, and saucy.If they are are still open during this summer when pandemic restrictions are lifted, I will be sure to take my associates out for a dine in to celebrate! Remember to #supportlocal #shoplocal and #buylocal whenever you can.

Absolutely love the pizza here. I've been to Chicago and had deep dish pizza there and so far this is the only place in Toronto that serves legitimate deep dish pizza. So happy that they are relatively close to me.

To the owner. “ please make sure you are hiring staff who can handle the pressures of your business. We called on Sunday April 4 at about 4pm to order a pizza. I placed the order for Buffalo chicken pizza and asked what other toppings are included. The person rudely replied “ what do you mean? You should know. You are the one who ordered”. I then nicely said “ I just want to know what other vegetables go with it?” To that he sighed loudly and said “ can you please hold on, we are very busy right now”. At that point DoubleD lost a customer. Making your lives less busy and easier

Can I give 6 stars? I had a craving a week ago for Chicago style pizza. After a two hour return transit ride and a 20 minute oven warm up my craving was satisfied. I was transported to Giordano's in the shadow of the Willis Tower in Chicago, the first slice of Chicago style pizza I ever had. I have to say, I think the cheese you use is better than any pizza I ever had in Chicago (I'm lactose intolerant and my stomach is not upset). Your pizza is amazing, your customer service is even better. We will definitely be back and we will tell our friends. Thanks for being Amazing!
I'm reading these negative reviews and I'm laughing!! I've been to Chicago and Double D is the ONLY place in Toronto to make an authentic Chicago style pizza. When you u use brick or wood ovens the pizza doesn't get a uniform color for all the pretenders out there leaving bad reviews.. They use the best ingredients and it's not drenched in oil like a Canadian or American does when they make pizza.. Over all no one compares and im going tonight for a small pizza to support these guys! I would be depressed if they closed out leaving me with no real Chicago pizza options in Toronto. Please survive this pandemic and ignore the haters they don't even know what pizza officially was from Naples!' Let's them hate!

Always wanted to try the deep dish pizza ever since as a child I had watched it on a cooking show on TV back home.Sadly, I have never been more disappointed. ☹️ Not much meat even though I had ordered for the Small meat lovers pizza..The sauce lacked flavour. And quite doughy.I guess I shouldn’t have had such high expectations for a dish that only looked mouth-watering on television.But well, if you still curious to know what a deep-dish pizza tastes like go for it.I sure have had my fill of it.
