The best jerk chicken in the city! This was our second time ordering from Hellshire. We first encountered them at Smorgasbord food festival (please check it out). We decided to swing by Etobicoke Eats to pick up dinner. Their ordering app wasn’t working but thankfully the kitchen was still open. We had their amazing jerk chicken dinner with hard dough bread (comfort food!!) and jerk shrimp po boy and Mac and cheese. The owner was so kind and unnecessarily apologetic about the app. Please support this great local business.

Listen…. This place is hands down the best I’ve had in Toronto. Anywhere as a matter of fact. I got the chicken wings that came with 2 delicious dips. One was like a chipotle and the other like a creamy hot dip…so good. Even the presentation was clean and well put together. I’m impressed. Very tasty! It was refreshing to have this since most of Toronto, Mississauga have dried up nasty wings. Looking forward to trying more things.

I had the Jerk Shrimp Po Boy and it was perfection.
Normally, I do not go that far West in Toronto, but I saw Hellshire Beach North was opening in the area and decided to stop by on a Saturday while running errands as I love Caribbean food.Off the bat, the service was great. The owner came out a bit earlier to let me know that he was working on a fresh batch of rice and peas and offered me plain rice if I didn't want to wait. Really appreciated the option, and definitely waited because it was worth it.I had the fried plantains and the Jerk Chicken Lunch. Everything was incredible, and quite frankly, one of the few places I've tried in the city that do not tone down the spice on the jerk. It was pretty much what I've come to expect from my best friend's mom jerk, so definitely living up to a very high standard.Honestly, even though it was a quick lunch take out experience, from service to food I would highly recommend you check this out if you're in the area and are looking for a lunch or dinner option.

Phenomenal. I got the jerk chicken lunch which I found was set at a good price & it came with a coleslaw & drink. I had ordered my food @ 1:57pm, it was ready for me at 2:10pm and I finished the meal by 2:17… THE FOOD WAS SO GOOD I DID NOT TAKE ANY TIME TO BREATHE ? I highly recommend this place & hope to see some more options on their menu in the future!
