I found this place from a recommendation. It’s was honestly the best halibut I’ve ever had. I forgot the tartar sauce but nothing was needed, it’s was so delicious and so cheap!!!!! I tried the cod which was quite good. Crispy and flaky, but I thought the portion was quite small compared to my favourite fish and chipperies. The coleslaw costs extra though I appreciate the contrasting flavour it provides the meal. Extremely kind couple that run the shop, 5 stars for service.

This is our go to for fish and chips! Fantastic fries and battered fish done on site. Wrapped in paper and fresh as can be. Don't feel up to a 2nd piece of fish but want a little more- the scallops are the nicest balance of moist inside and crispy outside. Onion rings are nice but the fries -are not my usual go to but taste home made.

I have never walked into a restaurant and lost my appetite. The kitchen is gross, the whole restaurant vibes is untidy. How they got a 4 star rating is beyond me.

This place is making proper old-school fish and chips in a cute/ retro environment.I had haddock and chips for 9.95! Large portion of beautiful tender fish with a really nice batter. Chips were solid too. This place exemplifies what fish and chips should be and the atmosphere is very cozy and cute.A rare little gem- I was super happy with everything and really enjoyed the vibes while dining in! I only wish I lived closer so I could pop in all the time :)

I got the cod which was alright. The gravy and onion rings were unreal though. Highly recommend them.
A New Toronto staple, especially on Good Friday or every other Friday throughout the year. They usually have a Halibut fish and chips deal that runs daily. The shrimp is very tasty, an old fashioned diner with fold up seats in the booth. Parking is on the side street or a paid lot. Very friendly owners, cash or debit transactions available.

I've been here 4 times and it doesn't disappoint! Very tasty halibut and chips. I also had gravy which was good. I will be coming here more often. Very good price for halibut and chips $15.45. Little mom and pop place, I love it!
