Ordered the grilled calamari via Uber eats it was undercooked and smelled and tasted so bad, got sick from it.The beyond veggie burger was not a veggie burger it was a bean burger, it also tasted off and my mom got sick from itOrdered penne Al a vodka which came with pancetta which also tasted off..overall food quality is horrible and the owner should be visited by health Canada

Food is fantastic, service is friendly. Can be loud when busy. Prices are reasonable. I go here often for the lasagna. So good!Updating Review in Oct, 2020. Came here for my birthday with my family during the pandemic. Staff were friendly, attentive and the food was ohh so good as always. It's tough to see great restaurants struggle during these dark times, so please go out and support your local favorites like Sempre! If you can, order directly by phone or in person so they can save more money than using online delivery apps.Updating Review Oct 2023.We've been here quite a few times since my last review. But this place is still great ?? Went with my family and some friends who were also celebrating birthdays. It wasn't too busy or loud. Had a nice peaceful dining with fantastic food and service. If I could give this place zero stars I would. Myself and my boyfriend are not picky eaters and haven’t left a bad review before. This place was absolutely terrible. The gnocchi tasted sour and off it was inedible and the pizza was disgusting. Please don’t eat here it was a waste of money!!!

We hadn't been there in years, but were passing by and decided to order for takeout. Excellent Triple Crown, thin crust pizza, good tiramisu and reasonable prices in comparison with similar restaurants Will definitely be back soon.

Sempre has been around for over 2 decades and changed hands many times. I haven't been in the last decade but was was in the area and happened to pop in. I was delighted to see the interior the same which I adored, nostalgic and a lot of conversation pieces. The staff is friendly, price and portions are reasonable. Our meals were well worth it and hit the spot. Ordered (by uber eats) your "Prosciutto Pere pizza", it was horrible. I've never heard a pizza smell so bad.Proshuto smelled very bad like a wet dog. Never again.

Delicious takeout. And we've eaten in too. Cozy, modern spot on Bloor West, steps from Royal York subway station. Carbonnara yummy - we order with no onion. Penne Creole is scrumptious. And for lighter meal, pair the large garlic vermouth shrimp appetizer size and add a couple pieces of their fabulous bruschetta!!! I would have taken some photos, but we all tucked into our dinner before I remembered that I wanted to add a couple photos! BTW, their salads are yummy too, especially the beet salad. Cheers. Cynthia

This restaurant is far from authentic Italian cousine...The pizza was worse then the Dr.Oetker from the supermarket.....HORRIBLE!!!...We also had the fried Calamari which was absolutely disgusting...dry and over cooked and the texture was like cardboard...The owner needs to hire Italian cooks in order to deliver the taste of Italy as they advertise !the stuff was very welcoming and polite !
