not bad but not great. the environment is beautiful and the two waitresses that I dealt with were great but the guy who sat us didn't really seem like he cared to be there. he just told us to sit wherever which is fine but it just wasn't the friendliest greeting. I ordered the vegetable curry and I have to say it was the most caucasian curry I've ever had. I honestly don't even think there was any curry in it. I'd go there and try again but the prices are steep. The lunch "special" was a grilled cheese on sourdough with bacon and fries on the side for $23....maybe I'm cheap but that doesn't sound like a special to me, especially when the vegetable curry was cheaper than that..

Crooked Cue has basically become Chuck E. Cheese with draught beer. If your idea of fun is hanging out at a "pool hall" packed with 8 to 17 year old patrons then you'll love it there. If you are looking to play a serious game of pool, look elsewhere. We were assigned a pool table and then were asked to vacate that table because someone 'booked' half the room for a private party. You would figure we would have been told that earlier before we were assigned that table. The place is open concept and incredibly loud. You can actually sit at the same table with someone and not hear what they are saying to you. The menu is quite good although expensive. I would recommend this establishment if you're taking your kids and their grade 6 soccer team friends to celebrate a winning game.Kid-friendliness: Tons of kids there.

Absolutely exceeded expectations! The Crooked Cue is a spacious treasure with fantastic food and exceptional service. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the welcoming atmosphere. The space is well-designed, providing ample room to relax and enjoy ourselves. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, truly exceeding our expectations. And the service? Impeccable. Attentive, friendly staff made our experience even more enjoyable. Can't wait to return!"

The Crooked Cue is always a favourite for a casual drink and dinner with friends. Great for all the sports and for large groups and functions. The open roof bar is so great in the summer time. Friendly staff and good service every time.

A local spot with an uninspiring food and drink menu. We were disappointed as everything was overpriced and underwhelming. Server was pleasant but inattentive until it came time to pay. He was lurking around to ensure he got a tip. I hope to avoid this place.Wheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accesible - there 's a steep staircase in/out.

This place was always a local go to, and was where my now wife and I had our first date. We made it tradition to always return each year on that date, and its been almost a decade of coming back, safe to say we may never return. We were seated by a waitress Lianna? and did not have our drink orders taken for at leasf 15 minutes. Once drinks arrived we almost finished the entire pints before she asked if we wanted food, it has probably been 45 minutes at this point and not very busy before dinner. We ate quickly as we were very hungry and wanted to order more drinks but the waitess and other waiters just kept walking by not stopping to ask if we needed anything else. All the staff had plenty of time to stand at the bar and chit chat about other customers who drink too much but never had time to ask us if we wanted anything, how our food or drinks were, or if we needed anything else. Truly disapointing. Will return in a year to see if things change but if we get the same miserable waitress will definitely be asking to sit elsewhere.

I need to state at the beginning of this review that our waitress was 5/5 for service. However, and a big however, the rest of the experience was horrible. When we walked in we waited almost 5 mins for someone to even acknowledge that we were waiting. 3 bartenders walked by and not even a "someone will be right with you". When the hostess finally showed up there was no mention about how long we were waiting. There was a lot of empty seats and she insisted we needed reservations (mid week btw). We finally got a table sorted but was not a great way to start offThe food is bad. Not sub par or average, but actually bad. Our waitress sympathied with us which was nice, but between 2 apps, 2 mains, and sides, the food was not at all worth the money we paid. Everything was soggy and poor quality.Iv been here in the past several times and haven't experienced quality this bad before.Drinks were good at least.I don't like leaving negative reviews but my goodness I need to stress how bad the experience with the hostess was and how bad the food was.

Great atmosphere, great food, decent prices. Many tv screens around to watch your sports events. Big billiards area with many tables. Only negative comment would be the restrooms. They are small, unkept, and in the far back corner of the building.
