The Workers:It's interesting that the owner (The Elderly Lady) seems unaware that people of other races can speak Korean. The racism towards Japanese people from Korean staff at a sushi restaurant is surprising and disappointing. The Food:Regrettably, the experience was accompanied not just by unpleasant attitudes but also by subpar cuisine. The texture of the fish was disappointingly soft and squishy, lacking the desired firmness expected in sushi. The Restaurant itself:Adding to the disappointment, the ambiance was tarnished by the presence of several bugs, a stark contrast to the numerous cobwebs hanging from the ceilings.Overall, this establishment fails to warrant a return visit.

A tiny sushi restaurant with a perfect cozy ambience and efficient service. Plenty of vegetarian options and fresh tasty dishes. We got the tofu appetizer and gyoza, a noddle soup and some sushi. All made to order we throughly enjoyed the taste. Visited twice within a span of few weeks and the owner remembered our order, it was so sweet! Will come again.

Ordered UberEats from this restaurant just to try out a new restaurant for the new year. Portion is beyond small, leaving us hungry to find food elsewhere afterwards. The yam sushi roll does not suit my taste at all. Very disappointing.

I have a wheat allergy. I expressed this to the server, TJ, when I ordered and asked what I should order. She informed me about the menu according to my allergy. She even brought out gluten-free soy sauce. I was so impressed by the considerate service. Thank you,

This place is *extremely* expensive for what you get. All the dishes were about 30-50% more costly than what you would expect at a comparable restaurant (generic, old storefront place in one of those Toronto vernacular 60s stripmalls with two rows of front parking and a flat above). It was as if they had just printed new menus with 5 years of inflation priced in. I recall a platter of just Bulgogi beef being listed for nearly thirty dollars. My wife and I tried this place after striking out two other places we found on Google (one didn't do dine-in, one sold pre-packaged rolls), so I didn't want to move us again even after we saw the menu. The medium sushi/sashimi/maki platter we ordered was $96 before tip and tax and merely got us pleasantly full, with no leftovers. All in, we wound up spending around $120 to consume a simple sushi-for-two and water. The sushi itself was...OK, probably about the average of all sushii I have had in my lifetime, which is quite a bit. The salmon was above average, soft and fatty, if not quite melt-in-your mouth. The tuna had a poor texture, as if it had previously been frozen. The other fish was pretty unremarkable, and I didn't really enjoy it (no unagi). The tempura maki was enjoyable. If the sushi was free, I would rate it three stars. Adjusting standards to the price charged, it is definitely one star material. The restaurant itself is full of plants and not attractive inside, although the downstairs bathrooms are nicer than you would expect. We sat in one of the booths initially. It wasn't very comfortable and then, weirdly, we both got very itchy. Don't know if it was some cleaning agent or bugs or something else, but the problem went away when we moved to a standalone table in the centre of the restaurant. We will try a different option in Etobicoke next time.

Nothing nice to say about this place. Restaurant is completely filthy, the walls are covered with cobb webs the floors looks like it hasn't been cleaned in weeks, and why are there so many plants at this restaurant? Plants attract bugs and bugs in food is a health violation! The food was sub par the sushi rice was dry and hard. The tempura looks like it was deep fried in old oil. The only thing that was fresh was the salad and miso soup. It seems like the owners and the works don't care anymore.
