What a great night! It was a first time here for my wife and I and I definitely recommend this little place. Message to the owner: musical team have to adjust the music loudness to the size of the bar. I did not understand why they set themselves up so loud?

From the friendly and lively staff to the endless arrivals of singers from Eastern Europe, Zam is by far the best Balkan bar/kafana in the GTA (Miles ahead of Fancy, Etno, Scout, etc). If you're of Eastern European descent and you enjoy the music of the Balkans - whether it's the newer pop or the older folk - do yourself a favour and have a night out with some friends at Zam. I've been coming here ever since I was legally able to go out (from Hamilton, to be exact) and I've never had a reason to complain.

One biryani box all spilled out of the box and the Karachi and the others bikhyr boxes plastic all melted in the food as they put it in very hot, PLASTIC CAUSE CANCER THAT IF YOU CARE! It’s so upsetting !! I put food in the garbage as I will not feed my kids cancerous material

Classy, upscale atmosphere, all feel welcome especially if you're from the Balkans. Traditional Serbian/Croatian food served on Friday nights, try the cevapi. Saturday night features very loud live Serbian music. Good place to mingle and dance with friends.The doorman is extremely friendly and welcoming so you feel quite safe.

I haven't been here for years... new owners? So different, food is good and service was great. The girl working was super nice. Highly recommended!
From the moment we walked in, Tanja made us feel very welcome. Great vibe, chill spanish music in the background. Was quiet, which I liked (for a 3pm lunch). The Leskovacki Ustipak was great, tasty, filling and reasonably priced. I asked for hot sauce and Tanja gave me her grandfathers homemade hot sauce which had just the right amount of kick.

I'm only giving 4 stars because I heard that they have new owners, which I'm so happy! The previous owner was so full of him self and quite rude if he thought you didnt spend enough $$ at his place.
