“We had a staff lunch ordered from here. The food were very authentic. The price was very reasonable with a great volume. The owner is very friendly as well. I recommend everyone who hasn't tried Sunflower yet to give them a chance.Vegetarian options: There are lots vegetarian choices like stir fried veggies(with rice or not) and variety of tofu dishes.“

“New ownership.Seems like everything was made from scratch. I had the soy beans and pork feet soup, and double cooked sliced pork dressed rice to go with it. The soup was a rare to find dish around this part of Ontario. It's excellent. Soup was tasty, full of flavor and the pork had the right texture and flavors. So food wise the chefs knew what they were doing.Definitely will come back for the food.However, they did have problems. The poor girl who was in trial for server position got several orders wrong and everything went to chaos. They certainly need better experienced servers. Or just provide a better training? And they still haven't gotten any prints of menu. I was told to check on dishes provided on a delivery app. I didn't have that on my phone and I wouldn't install any delivery app because of my bad experience with all of them. Anyway, there's a blackboard on the wall from the previous owner, why not utilize that?Hopefully they would get over the minor issues with a newly established restaurant and provide a fine dine in experience in the future.“

“Great find amongst a plethora of restaurants to choose from! I got into town 7:45-8pm on a Sunday night, starving and looking for some good food before knocking out after a long travel day. Walked past this with a decent amount of people inside, had wanted to sit down but they initially said since I came in at 7:55pm they only do takeout orders. They then changed their mind and at that point, was too awkward to sit so I ended up just ordering some pork baos and the regular size beef noodle soup to-go. They do not have alcohol here. Baos were OK! The filling tasted different than what I'm used to but the beef noodle was flavorful for being a light broth, where I'm used to it being dark. Noodles were chewy and good. Their menu is *huge* and I didn't have much time to look thoroughly at it, but will be back soon to try more!“

“This is one review to take seriously...Chinese food is hands down my favorite food and to be honest it takes quite a bit to impress me and Chinese Palace has taken it to a whole other level of goodness!! I've tried almost every chinese restaurant in Kingston and Chinese Palace is on its own level. The food is incredible, so fresh and flavourful and you can tell that they take pride in every dish they make. Always consistently delicious. You have to believe me and try it for yourself!
