Not really impressed, complained about a soggy flavorless pizza, and was told my palette was off( been a chef for 26 years), live music was nice but far too

Apps were pretty good but the mains were all over the place. Lobster that was crunchy, steak also over cooked. Thankfully the server/owner understood and compensated but still disappointing.

From live music, to food to the service everything was great. The pasta was light and not heavy, the decadent chocolate cake was sinfully creamy. The servers and I think he was the owner were great super nice and friendly.I have kept seeing the place from outside wanting to try the food. And today I had a chance to visit and I don't regret it.The Bistro lived up to the hype I build in my head.

We were greeted by a friendly waitstaff at the door and they directed us to our reserved table in the courtyard. We all love the look and decor in the courtyard. Very neat and tidy. All the waitstaff were very attentive, friendly and prompt. We were all surprised that the restaurant was not busy. I loved the calamari as my appetizer and I would highly recommend it. My husband had the mussels and really enjoyed them. They are one of his favorite dishes. We all appreciated the bread and oil at the table. Our guests enjoyed their appetizers and for the most part enjoyed their main entrees. While we enjoyed the idea of the piano player in the distance, I think most of us would have preferred less vocals and more soft music in the background. My cheesecake was delicious for dessert. Lots of desserts to choose from. I would recommend people to try this restaurant. It has lots of character.

Food wasn't bad, friendly staff and a nice ambient setting. I understand these types of places can ring a couple bucks more but $11 for a tall can of beer is crazzzyyyy.

Saturday - Went to this Bistro for a large family gathering for two birthdays ?, the food was fantastic; plus, they had a guitarist playing who by the way was really great. Service was suburb, really friendly staff. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great meal.

Edited: This place was sold last fall and is rebranded and now called called OGGI .This restaurant deserves more patrons. We went on a Wednesday night so it was a bit quiet. I imagine on the weekends it might be very busy and you would need reservations. However, the atmosphere is fantastic. Either for date night or groups. It really is special. It is in Fort Erie and I felt like I was in Old Montreal. The service was fantastic. The crab cakes were really delicious. I found my rigatoni was a little bland. My husband's salmon fettuccine was to his tastes. The portions are extremely generous. We had enough left over for lunch the next day. We also enjoyed an apple crumble cheesecake which was also very yummy. Excellent coffee!!! They had a pianist/singer singing cover songs which was tasty - not intrusive. This is a nice gem and really should do really really well for a very long time!

Food was not good. Found a hair in the pizza, loud karaoke that was very not suitable for a fine dining ambience. Price per person too expensive not at all the value we received, 20% tip automatically imputed which was upsetting given the horrible experience and service. Server didn't even know how to handle a complaint never gave an I'm sorry or acknowledged us. She told us to go talk to the owner and he never came to talk to ask after we said something. Not worth the money

I think the name should be changed to Oh Gee! I brought my partner for a birthday lunch and we were both very disappointed. I ordered fish and chips and the fish was quite greasy and the fries were on the soggy side. My partner ordered a burger and it was apparently very dry. The music was loud and on an FM radio station and so we had to listen to commercials. The server stated that the music was in a locked room in which she had no access. We waited quite some time for the bill too. Hard pass on any future visits.

We had dinner here on our way down to Florida. The restaurant is in an old bank building. It has two levels we dined in the courtyard. The food was to die for. The servers were amazing. The night we were there they had entertainment a fellow played guitar and softly sang for the patrons. When we’re leaving the owner ask us if we’re locals, we said no we’re are on our way to Florida he wished us a safe journey.

Was here for my birthday. This was our second time since the new owner took over and changed the Old Bank Bistro to Oggi Bistro. The service was good and the food excellent. The pasta noodles are home made and portions very nice. The House wine was good. The owner Pat always comes to make sure everything is good. The atmosphere was very nice. Good apps and main course was excellent. Cheers to Oggi Bistro
