My mom and I just stopped in for the first time today, and not only are the owners lovely, the baking is INCREDIBLE!!! We tried the rustic artisan bread and it absolutely tastes like regular bread. You can't tell it's gluten free. I've already started making my list to place an order online! So thankful we have such a great bakery in Glencoe! :)

Today I had the absolute pleasure of trying my first baked good I ordered and meeting Conny from Heirloom Bake Shoppe. All I can say is...AMAZING!!! It was the lemon square. Sweet and tart and the most flaky crust. You would never know it is gluten free. I can't wait to try all the other baked goods I ordered, like the bagels, english muffins, bread, garlic & parmesan biscuits and the 7 layer bars.

My sister and I were in town for the day and picked up some maple walnut squares and mixes -- the squares were all I needed to fall in love. I'm not gluten free and I tend to stay away from gluten free desserts since they don't tend to be very good, but those squares were so amazing they've easily become one of my favourite desserts (if not my absolute favourite). The customer service was wonderful as well, easily the best bakery I've visited to date :) hopefully I get the chance to visit again soon!

I could not recommend Heirloom more. Our wedding was a true feast of sweets! Everything was phenomenal and the customer service is amazing.
