It is quaint, a locals hidden hotspot and we quickly found out why, The coffee and latte were exceptional and we each had a morning glory muffin to go. I am a lifelong baker and have bakery expertise. These morning glory muffins were off the charts!!!, so moist, loaded with goodness and honestly the best I’ve ever had. “Many craft breweries make high IBU beers and the high alcohol and bitterness can make having more than one ... We'll, not difficult, but a challenge. The beer here is very drinkable. And James, slinging the beer, was very personable!”

“We enjoyed a date day in grand bend today and came into La Playita for a drink and some food! The pitcher of strawberry margaritas was amazing! The food was excellent. The service was a bit slow and they missed one our dishes but with that being said, they had bus loads of western students today in grand bend and they ran their butts off! And everything we had was worth the wait! Great food and friendly staff! We are already planning another trip before the season ends!”

“We got a dinner for 5 with extra eggs rolls. It was delicious food! Tons of left overs as well. It wasn’t a long wait for food at all. The only thing I didn’t like was the fortune cookies, but small part of the meal I was happy to skip it and just grab my fortune out.”

“Order from here all the time. Delivery is always on time with what they say. Food is always amazing. The delivery guy is also very friendly and I always tip him well. Especially when the weather is bad. Never a bad experience. I wish they had better flavors for their wings though. That would be my only complaint.”

“This subway is no different then any other but what I don't like about this location is it seems like everytime I go here there's only one person working and even with 3 or 4 people in line it's easily an 15 minute plus wait.”
