Went for lunch at the Aberfoyle Restaurant today for the first time. Our server, Tracy, was awesome and the food was so good we asked if we could get the soup recipe, the Chef wrote it out for us! Roasted parsnip with honey, oh yeah, you’ll want to try it!This will become a go to when I’m in the Guelph area.

Service staff are friendly and food is good. They need to work on improving the decor and atmosphere. New Mennonite furniture is in order and some decent table centerpieces. A number of small things could be added to make the place stand out more.

Went for the Murder Mystery Dinner Party with a group of friends and had an amazing time. The show was delightful and engaging throughout most of the delicous and filling prix fixe meal. Service was some of the best I've ever experienced, especially from our server, Chloe.The experience was worth every penny spent and we will definitely be coming back again.Vegetarian options: Despite the prix fixe menu, they do provide vegetarian and vegan options upon request that are just as appetizing as the main menu. My parter and I ordered both vegan mains available and preferred the curry over the gnocchi

Amazing dinner with the murder mystery. The staff was the best I've ever seen. They were incredibly attentive. Our server, Chloe, was hilarious, respectful, and must have been psychic to always arrive just on time with whatever we needed.Gnocchi was good but a little bland. My sole complaint about the restaurant.9.5/10, I will be returning.Vegetarian options: Decent selection of vegetarian options, though the spinach salad is incredibly sweet.

Had Linguini with shrimp. Totally enjoyable. Dessert was Turtle cheesecake...yummy. Our waitress made the experience more enjoyable ( can't remember her name)My friends and I had a great time.

Went for an appointment and tour for a possible wedding venue. The guy took us through the kitchen to upstairs, where there was no room for dancing. The kitchen smelled like something died, and the place was not up to par. The photos were lovely, and the prices were cheaper, but it's noticeable as to why it is so cheap.
