Had take out with a moderately good experience. My partner liked the pad thai she ordered although I found the basil stir fry a bit lack luster. Overall the food was fine but did not stand out in Guelph's vibrant restaurant scene, especially for the price.

We enjoy Thai food and for years I've been wanting to try this place but hadn't had the chance. On Friday evening we found ourselves hungry and with a bit of time to kill, so the perfect time to try it out. I checked to confirm they were open. Their website doesn't list their hours but Google says they're open until 8:30 on Fridays. We drove over, arrived at 7:40 and a sign on the door confirmed that they're open until 8:30.Unfortunately we were met at the door by a woman who wasn't very polite about it. "Pick up only!" she blurted, then asked if we were there for pick up. We weren't, so she repeated "Pickup only" and closed the door on us.And that's the beginning and end of our experience at Lemongrass. We won't try them again.

Disappointing. Small portions and poor ingredients for the price. Especially the noodles ...which were oddly chopped into 0.5cm to 4 cm pieces. Beef pieces tiny too. For 18 dollars I'd go to Ben tahn or Thai Express.

Wanted to try a different Thai place, so we wanted to order takeout from Lemon Grass. Not only do they not provide prices on their website, but the person who took the order over the phone didn't even want to tell us our total cost until we pressed about it. It was way more than we ever expected to spend (2 noodle entrees and 2 drinks was $65 total), but we wanted to give them a chance. No wonder they hide their prices. Ordering from here was a mistake. The food was bland, the vegetables tasted incredibly watery (perhaps previously frozen, or just low quality), the takeout containers they use were very cheap and small, so the amount of food you get is very small, and the drinks which were also overpriced, were in tiny cups.Skip this restaurant, go somewhere better.

Found the food to be mediocre - wouldn’t want to go back to try it again. I also found it to be expensive for the amount of food you get (I’ve been to other Thai restaurants that give you a lot more food.It was also quite odd that you couldn’t go in the restaurant to pick up your order. The first time I called, there was no answer and I was left standing in the cold. Only upon the second call did someone bring the food out.

Overall only mediocre. Small portions and relatively expensive vs other Thai places. Ordered a few thing but will comment on the green bangkok curry ... Not very flavorful and I am certain the noodles were spaghetti?? Not vermicelli. Found that very strange. On a positive note, fried tofu app was excellent.

Friendly service. Ordered Chicken Pad Thai and spring rolls. Food is way overpriced for the very small serving sizes you get. Very little chicken and food was average at best. Was disappointed as I expected much better from an authentic Thai restaurant.

I love their Golden Tofu. I find their dishes very "home style". Not a bad thing, just different. I think there food is healthier than the average restaurant.

Best Thai food in Guelph hands down, I’ve tried a bunch of their dishes and they’re all delicious and the staff is super friendly too!

Lemongrass is the absolute best! It’s our go-to takeout spot. I am absolutely in love with their coconut tofu soup and eggplant tofu. The food is always delicious and fresh, everyone there is always so kind and friendly, prices are great, and portions are generous! We recently ordered a large quantity of food for our wedding, and they were able to accommodate our needs flawlessly. Vegan options are labelled clearly, and they are knowledgeable and ready to offer tons of delicious vegan dishes. We love everything about lemongrass!

Wow, really great food! Tried 5 dishes and each was flavourful. Best Pad Thai in the city.

I had the tofu green curry, tofu Tom yum soup and ginger tofu. It was all really terrible. Very watery and the all the veggies and tofu were chopped up smaller than you would feed a toddler. If you add up all the tiny bits, it was really a small amount of anything. I'm very confused. Especially since it costs more than many other thai places. Red Papaya's green curry is infinitely better, try that instead .Pros: friendly staff.
