Last time my group of friends got a combo with poutine and gyro. Like always it was quickly made in front of you, wrapped in the soft and warm pita with fresh salad and grilled gyro meat. The poutine is really the best in Guelph and in a good size. It is home made fries. The owner is very polite and friendly. He followed safety protocol. I highly recommend Macdonell Village. Next time I'll get the potato and cheese perogies.

Has really gone downhill.Pros: great serviceCons: had the fish and chips - fish was frozen, thawed in microwave then battered, batter was very chewy/thick (not crispy golden). Mozzarella sticks were good but $7 for 6 small pieces.

Open until 3am (except on Sundays). Very friendly proprietor. Gyro was good as were the fries. Perfect for the late night or all nighter. They have a larger menu of fish and chips style food. Not sure it's all available at all hours but it might be. No seating just take out.

I have been coming to this spot for 10 years. The owner is a boss. Always hustling, remembers my name and order and honestly makes the best gyros in town. I have been to Greece for weeks and his Serbian gyros take the cake. Don't miss this spot
Every time after hanging out downtown my friend and I stop by for 2/8$ gyro. We always get a delicious tasting gyro met with fantastic customer service. It is always a pleasant and tasty way to end a night out!
