I went out this morning for breakfast with my lovely lady and when she brought me somewhere I hadnt been before i was a bit skeptical. Although, all i can say about this place is good things. We were seated and greeted right away with a strawberry banana smoothie sample and it was amazing i ordered one myself. Service was impeccable and so was the food. We will definitely be back again…..tomorrow ;)

Anik was fantastic. We tried the new menu items, kicking kimchi Benedict and Riri's coconut almond French toast. They were delicious. Even tried the lavender and lemon iced latte. Quite interesting!

RACIST BLONDE HAIRED HOSTESS. I made a reservation for 8 people and drove over half an hour just to be told that "all the ingredients are finished" and that they had just seated the last table AT 10:45 AM AT A BREAKFAST RESTAURANT. I have never experienced such unprofessional and biased behavior from such a well known establishment. Not only was this a complete waste of time but a total lie. When I had called 10 minutes later asking for a table for 4, the hostess on the phone said that the table will be ready in 10 minutes. My friend also called a few minutes later requesting a table and was told to come on in. What a shame to be experiencing racism in 2024 in a place where multiculturalism is the norm. As a racialized group, it truly hurts to know that we were turned away immediately at the door purely based on our skin tone. Don't waste your time and money in racist establishments like this. You're better off spending your money elsewhere at a different restaurant where they will serve every customer with the same respect. It's 2024, get with the times and stop hiring racist people to serve your community. PEOPLE LIKE THIS SHOULD NOT BE WORKING IN CUSTOMER SERVICE.

This was our first visit after hearing many good things about this place. So naturally we’d have to check it out.We arrived just before 09:00, and were seated pretty promptly. It wasn’t very busy at all, plenty more empty tables than full. It went downhill from there, taking 25 minutes for us just to be asked what we would like to drink, while the 3 staff members that were here just stood in the kitchen. We ordered our food at the same time as our drinks as we were able to go over the menu several times also fearing how long it would take them to come back. My son ordered a Pepsi, was told that they are out, he ordered Chick N waffle, was told they are out of chicken. When the server brought my orange juice (that I ordered freshly squeezed) I was told that they were all out of that as well. My son and wife ordered the breakfast poutine that came out cold, the only thing hot on my plate, The Big 3, was my pancakes. The toast wasn’t even warm enough to melt the butter. I asked server for syrup and was brought ketchup and hot sauce. Had to chase down another employee to get syrup, and had to chase down same said employee to get our server to bring us our bill. Very disappointed

Shame on the management/ownership of this place. Of no fault of their own, the staff (understaffed for the crowd) struggled to maintain guests at their tables. Waits extending 20-30 minutes because ownership cant support staff appropriately. They opened 3 hours past posted signage (7am posted, actually opened at 10)The staff were lovely. Our server was very friendly. Unfortunately, they were set up to fail. This could be a wonderful place if not run by people who clearly have no business in this business. Loved every minute of our visit at pur & simple!! From the time you walk in the door this place is welcoming, beautiful decor and friendly staff. The food was amazing. Big portions and so delicious!

My work partner and I had a wonderfulBreakfast. Food was great atmosphere to be expected the server was amazing. We had such a wonderful time went back to work and spoke about the young university server Abby. She was engaging entertaining and prompt. We have not had such a great brunch in a while remembering our years at school. Wish you luck Abby. Keep it up
