Easy to reserve on Open Table we were greeted at the door and seated promptly. Our server arrived quickly and took our order, drinks and appetizer were on the table in no time and the Bang Bang Shrimp were delicious. Once our meals arrived our server seemed to lose interest and didn't come back to check on us until we had finished. That said all 3 of us enjoyed our food and will definitely be back.

We had a great anniversary dinner tonight. Our server Jacqueline was very polite and attentive. The pretzel bites and Calamari appetizers were amazing! My only issue was that we were sitting in the bar area and it was hard to speak with each other. We'll definitely go again.

I ordered a burger —- and they were was stingy with the size. Smallest thing I ever had in a restaurant. The bun was not fresh — it was still thawing from the freezer. I asked for a new one. The replacement was probably from the same batch...not fresh.
Our server was awesome! She had great timing, sense of humour and just all around made evening perfect! Loved bang bang shrimp and our main meals delicious! My only negative was the cheesecake...we were expecting a true creamy New York style cheesecake and it was just ok. We will definitely be back ...great evening all around! Thank you

A nice place to go with fun cocktails but “shrinkflation” has hit this place hard. A Tuna Bowl that's 90% rice with 3 small pieces of tuna is not worth the price. The Caesar was great tho!

This was our 1st time at the Guelph location of State and Main previously being numerous times in Kitchener. I had the lettuce wraps which is my favorite at every restaurant that serves them. These were without a doubt the best ones I have ever tasted! The portions were huge with me bringing enough home for leftovers tomorrow. My husband had the fish and chips which were also a generous serving. Our server was Lindsay and she was excellent, efficient and very knowledgeable with a pleasant smile . Overall a great experience and we definitely will be back!

service was amazing but the food was simply bad. the pretzel dip was alright, the pretzels were dry and the sauce was too strong. we also got steaks but they were very dry and it was not worth the 40 dollars. salmon was nice but again drier than usual.

Came in to eat tonight with my boyfriend before a movie, was seated right away and had the soup dumplings and royal Bangkok bowl, food was absolutely delicious! Darian was our server tonight, she was excellent, provided great recommendations and made us laugh! Definitely will return!!!

I am specially going to State & Main to eat my favourite dish "pistachio crusted Salmon" , also they have good steak dish as well but i will highly recommend people to try salmon and you will always go back to state and main for that. In terms of service they have really good staff highly skilled and professional so no complaint at all and atmosphere wise also its good.

Food was very good. My steak was very slightly overdone. My wife loved the bacon tomato soup and the salmon. Our server, Fern, was excellent. Friendly, attentive and prompt. Genuine, which is a bonus for this customer. The Coffee IMO was excellent. Another bonus for me.Apparently a little to strong for some palates. Thankyou
