Tonight was our second time at Barbara Cafe and our experience both times has been amazing. Great food, great service. Our only regret is that we did visit sooner! The menu as well as the nightly specials are incredible and the desserts are such a nice size that you can sample several things without feeling like you over indulged. My 90 yr old father in law felt quite at home in this space and the serving staff made him feel like a million bucks by taking the time to listen to his requests and make suggestions. Thanks for a great experience!

We dined at Barbara Caffe for the first time this evening and it will not be our last. I ordered chicken parm, my husband, the carbonara. My dish came, it was veal, which I don't eat. No big deal, my husband ate it and LOVED it, and I ate the pasta on the side. The portions are large so it really wasn't an issue. We mentioned it to our server Christian and he went back to the kitchen and unbeknownst to us, had them remake THE WHOLE DISH. Its not like we sent back the original, we ate the veal and the pasta entirely and had no issue paying for it. Such a kind gesture, we now have lunch tomorrow. The food is great, reasonably priced and came hot and fast. Based on this experience, I will be booking my son's first communion lunch at this restaurant.

The service was awful. We got two glasses of wine. If the waiter was alert he would have suggested a half liter at the same price. We had to ask for a menu. I had to ask for a knife too many times. Although the bread was good we only got two small pieces and the waiter never asked if we wanted more. The ravioli was supposed to be home made. It was tough and cold. The coffee was good and the canoli was just okay.

Went tonight for dinner and it was amazingMy husband had sword fish and he said it was the best. I had the short rib dinner and they fell off the bone and tasted great. We hadn’t been for many years and we will definitely be back again.The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. It was a great night out. I highly recommend you try this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.
