“Love this place and the small town feel it has! We go back over and over as there is always something new and delicious to try. They have specials that change regularly and a good variety of dessert options that also get changed up. We love how friendly the staff are, how they welcome everyone from all walks of life, and how you just feel like you’re among friends there. Don’t be in a rush when you go - the food comes out quickly but we always find we’re there longer than we think we will be. It’s always a pleasure to go?Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly, high chairs and colouring books available. The staff are very welcoming of kids as well!“

“I've always known about Steve's Open Kitchen but never actually been to it before until this past weekend when my friend mentioned wanting just a classic dinner type spot and I knew this was the perfect opportunity. The food was delicious, staff was very attentive on the coffee refills. The only thing I saw that could be a problem for some was a few larger groups trying to rejig tables and keep switching to make room to fit them all. But we were just 2 so no issue for us and everything was delicious in a relaxed casual atmosphere.“

The staff is very kind and attentive.I usually get the steak and eggs which while is sometimes more done then I liked it is still very tasty and high quality. The deep fried home fries are to die for as well.Recommend getting a side pancake as it’s delicious and very fluffy***Love this place but honestly just don't order the steak and eggs. They will cook it medium well no matter how you order it. Its also supposed to be strip loin and I'm pretty sure they are trying to pass off some other cut.The potatoes eggs or whatever else you order here is great just my steak hasn't been good the last few times. Not sure if its a cost thing which is understandable. Service is kind of inconsistent too depending which server you get. Today ours didn't check on us once had to talk up to the front to pay my bill.“

“Second time going and the food was excellent. Service was a bit slow but they were super busy and very friendly. Celebrated my son’s birthday with their cake and it was so awesome! Not only did it taste great but the presentation and wow factor was a big hit with our party of 6 and the birthday boy! Prices are reasonable and fish and chips were 2nd best I have ever had. The Axel Foley is delish and the Revenge of Birds and Fried Chicken sandwich were excellent. Shakes were sooo good. Highly recommend.“
