not great. coffee is always sour, my boyfriend took 2 sips of his americano and didn’t finish it. weird vibes from the staff. lattes taste different every time but they never taste delicious. unfortunately i was asked to leave the premises for unknown reasons despite being a fairly regular customer. would love to return but they always lock the door on me when they see me crossing the street towards the building????Kid-friendliness: no children allowed sign is posted on the front door

I was doing some work for a film shoot and stopped at Durand, first time not being in a Tim Hortons and the atmosphere was chill very professional service and the food and coffee tasted like a coffee and cinnamon roll should taste. I'd recommend this place to anyone in the area but to drive there for their coffee they just haven't hit that sweet spot yet maybe if they included some food and more seating perhaps it'd be a good little hipster study area now if they ever get rich and build a second story with glass walls and a balcony would be a perfect place to sit and study in the summer and an amazing café in general with good views of the escarpment and the Hamilton with the slope heading downwards facing the other way.

Favourite cafe in Hamilton.Super friendly staff, perfect selection of baked goods (blueberry scone is my kryptonite), amazing music (which I often have to Shazam so I can add it to my own library), and the *only* cafe I've ever visited this many times that has never once given me a subpar drip coffee (I switched to drip to save money lately, and noticed a lot of other cafes seem to struggle with keeping the freshness consistent for drip coffee). 5/5 across the board. ☕
