Always receive the best service from friendly staff. The kitchen takes great steps to ensure my allergy is handled correctly, which is not always easy with garlic! But I have eaten here many times without any issues. The bacon blues burger is the best!Dietary restrictions: I have a severe garlic allergy and the kitchen staff ensured this was addressed extremely well.

Went here for a work party a few nights ago and the atmosphere was great! The staff were so friendly and welcoming and it was overall a very positive experience! For a pub the food was tasty as well! Would definitely recommend!

Stopped in for a late lunch. Have been meaning to try the place since we moved close by 14 yrs ago...Ok it takes me awhile to complete tasks! The place was busier than I thought it would be at 230 on a Wednesday afternoon. You had a collection of the usual suspects seated at the bar and a smattering of couples and groups in the various booths and tables.We seated ourselves and were approached with menus and asked for our drink requests very quickly. After some amusing banter back and forth with I assume to be the owner/manager who took our order we looked around the place which was bright and cheerful but showed the wear and tear of its age, found the room temperature a cool for our liking. Food came and it was good. I had a pound of the dusted wings except for a couple of wings that were a little more chewy than I would have liked which were more a reflection on the chicken then how they were prepared. The wife has Chicken Caesar salad and it was "deliciously huge" as per her words. The waitress who brought us our food and checked up on us during our meal was friendly and attentive. Will we be back, Yes we will lots of things on the menu I would like to try....

We had lunch at the Fool and Flagon on Saturday. The burgers were really good, the service was excellent. Will definitely return.

We came here for a lunch. The food was amazing! The service was slightly slow even though they were not busy, and just not the most friendly we have ever had, but still good! It was a little dark at our booth, but nothing not worth coming back for!
