Disappointed!Hardly any cheese curds on my poutine, legitimately only had a few pieces scattered around and when I asked for a few more was told I'd have to buy more. While I still think the dish is delicious, I will be finding somewhere else to go for fish and chips.Parking: Parking lot was busy, not much room to park.

The quality of food has decreased drastically and if you ask for any extra condiments they give you 1 or 2I think they have changed either the batter or the way it's cooked (really greasy ).It used to be my favourite fish and chips but now it's instant gut rot

Foods okay, nothing special, little over priced for what ya get for take out .... Staff were all miserable, they want a tip? Someone learn to smile at least. Won't be back

Food portions have gone down over the years, the atmosphere is the same which more than fine, lots of nostalgia. Most of the staff do a great job but there's some extremely rude staff that totally ignore customers. I get that your busy working, but you are working a customer service job, part of your job is looking after customers. Was not well done on my last visit which is sad. Not sure I'll be back after that.

Just go. Don't get burgers, hot dogs, or chicken fingers... seriously, just get the fish and chips (The "large" size is for the really hungry, usually just a regular will do). Authentic atmosphere on the beach strip reflective of their original location in Confederation Park - the jukebox is still there (although the pinball machines have disappeared over time). A note to tourists; for the authentic fish'n'chips experience you have on each table a bottle of brown malt vinegar and a salt shaker. (Ignore the ketchup, you don't need or want that). Take your plate of fish'n'chips and dowse everything liberally with malt vinegar, then follow up with a healthy shaking of salt, just slightly less than your blood pressure permits. Then sink your fork in and enjoy. (Thank me later!) P.S. they have ice cream for a beach stroll after dinner, if you can squeeze it in...Kid-friendliness: Kids like fish'n'chips as well! But if they're being picky, get them a ketchup-drowned hot dog so that you can keep them sustained while you're enjoying yours...

We enjoy going here for the fish and chips as well as the ice cream. Every once in a while the fish can be a bit too oily as opposed to crispy. Fries are good and getting a burger is always an option as well. Peak times it gets pretty busy and there is usually a lineup. Worth the wait for the classic/vintage setting. There are nice lake views (if you opt for a window table), comfortable seating, and the option for ice cream for dessert is always nice.

Food is always great here- from what I usually order. Fish & chips. It has such a great vibe and being by the water makes it top tier for me and my family. Takes a while to receive your order sometimes when it gets busy.

Went there for the eclipse.??? There is nothing fancy about this place. It is timeless, functional and clean. Most important the food is fantastic. You would have to be very hungry to finish two pieces of their excellent fish as well as the best fresh cut style french fries that I am aware of in the city. There are many booths inside. Many of them give you a view of the beach. There are ample picnic tables outside as well. You can also just stop for an ice cream cone at the back of the building. And the staff are hard working and friendly.Parking: There usually is a spot for you in front. If not, there is ample free parking on either side of the lot.

The fish and chips are very generous and taste very good. Goid coleslaw too. The view of the lake is excellent.

It was my first time and I loved it. Food was great and service was friendly!

The fries are very dark and cold. Taste like old oil. The coffee is luke warm. For the prices they charge you would think the food would be hot and fresh. Very disappointed!
