Island Jerk Hut is the best. Hands down the best Caribbean food around. I absolutely love their oxtail and jerk chicken. They're always polite and give great portions.

The food is very good, as with the prices and portions. The staff are pleasant and provide good service. The curry goat is my favourite, followed closely by the jerk chicken. Everything tastes fresh and homemade. Check it out you won't be disappointed.

No ratings for atmosphere because I always get take out but they give you properr portionsTheir fry dumpling is good. They're round and proper sizes. Chicken soup is also good. Ackee and saltfish is okay. Not a fan of the provisions and I think the coslaw taste like mayo. I would say this is my favourite place for curry chicken. They cook the chicken down super soft and it's well seasoned. They'll drown your rice in gravy if you'd like (which I do). The also fry their plantain right. You can tell it's like black ripe before they do it. Never dry or tuff, it's always soft and sweet.They had a decent selection tho. I usually go late and they'll have what I want (curry chicken) they sell out of plantain fast tho :( but that's prob because they cook it right

I recently visited J*** Island Hut and had a great experience overall. While they were unfortunately sold out of the ox tail, I had the opportunity to try their chicken stew with rice and peas. Usually, I opt for the j*** chicken with rice and peas, which is always amazing.The food at J*** Island Hut is fresh and flavorful. The portions are generous, so you definitely won't leave hungry. In terms of price, I found it to be quite reasonable and affordable.Although I was disappointed about the ox tail being unavailable, the chicken stew was a delicious alternative. I appreciate that they offer a variety of dishes to cater to different tastes.Overall, I highly recommend J*** Island Hut for its tasty Jamaican cuisine, large portions, and reasonable prices. It's a great spot to satisfy your j*** chicken cravings and indulge in some authentic flavors.

Walked in after 5pm. No roti available. Ordered a large size curry chicken with rice and peas with a side order of plantain. It was filling. It was great. 4 pieces of chicken. Rice and peas, yummy. Loved it. One of the best curries I've ever had. If ever you are up there, stop in and try one of their meals. You wouldn't be disappointed

the man had no customer service skills at all. j*** pork was ok. the spiciness gave it flavor. the rice and peas was sour. sitting in the rice cooker all day.yuck.
